I once read a business book that said if your business cannot adapt then it will die.

The last thing I want is for BIRTHFIT to die because I feel beyond passionate about this information and wisdom needing to be passed on.

As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that the holes and obstacles in business are often a direct reflection of where I’m lacking a skill or haven’t evolved.

Through my own motherhood transition, I’ve revisited parts of my soul that I haven’t explored in quite some time, or ever. Initially, I thought I was done working and just wanted to be a mother in flowy dresses in the country.

Instead of burning it all down or selling this huge thing God put on my heart, I have reorganized and restructured and revamped every corner of BIRTHFIT over the last two years.

I am totally looking forward to mentoring chiropractors and coaches via The BIRTHFIT Certification.

So, one thing I know for sure is that chiropractic offices and gym spaces are often the hub for wellness and community in their areas. But many are lacking the 7 pillar framework that fills the gap for the women they serve.

The perinatal client is one of the most loyal, high-referral clients in the health and fitness space — and right now, someone else is getting her.

We know you didn’t go into this field to turn clients away. You went into it to be the person they trust most.

The BIRTHFIT Certification is a 7-pillar perinatal framework that turns good coaches into the go-to resource for pregnant and postpartum women.

You go from being a general practitioner to the perinatal specialist your community didn’t know they were missing.

So you become the practitioner women remember, recommend, and come back to for every season of motherhood

🤠 Hi. I’m Lindsey. And I’m stepping back into action with more clarity, more conviction, and more to share than ever before. 💃🏻

🌟I’m a chiropractor, birth doula, strength coach, and the founder of BIRTHFIT — a maternal health organization I started in 2013 because I saw a massive gap in how women were being prepared for birth and postpartum.

🦋The last few years have been full. A miscarriage. A marriage. A home birth on our back porch in Texas. A baby girl. And the deepest season of learning I’ve ever gone through.

New website is live.
BIRTHFIT Certification is open for enrollment.
Upgraded programs.
Same intentions… honor the nervous system, move your body, and utilize the seven pillar framework.

Birth is a sacred rite of passage every woman deserves to be prepared for. We got you.

🤗I’m glad you’re here. Stick around.

The coaches who keep their clients after birth aren't the ones with the best postpartum program. They're the ones who showed up.

A lying-in plan for the first month. A referral list ready before she needed it. An invitation back to the gym with zero fitness expectations. A walk, a meal, a pair of arms to hold her baby so she could move.

Postpartum retention isn't a marketing strategy. It's what happens when you become part of her village.

The BIRTHFIT Coach Accelerator teaches you how to support her from pregnancy through postpartum: four calls over eight weeks, starting October 27. Enrollment closes October 24. Link in bio.

Two women, both 24 weeks pregnant, follow the same program on paper. One slept through the night and walked outside after breakfast. The other was up three times last night and hasn't eaten since dinner.

If you program by the calendar, they get the same session. If you program by capacity, they don't.

The BIRTHFIT Capacity Check is built on the 7 Pillars. Nourishment, Sun, and Sleep set her ceiling. Community, Mindset, and Spirit are her filters. And fitness? Fitness is the readout. It shows you what's happening upstream.

This is how you know when to move her up or down the Pregnancy Triangle. Not pain. Not weeks. Capacity.

Learn to coach this way inside the BIRTHFIT Coach Accelerator: four calls over eight weeks, starting October 27. Enrollment closes October 24. Link in bio.

Deadlifts, squats, and hip thrusts are great.

And we all need to be training are booty muscles in a variety of ways- hello rotation. This variation of training will help to lengthen booty muscles and load in an eccentric phase.

Want more 🍑? Add some rotation to the mix.

Keep it simple. ✌️🌴☀️

Keeping a pregnant client in your gym is a good start. It isn't the finish line.

The real question is whether you can coach her with clarity: shift her through the Pregnancy Triangle without waiting for pain, program for the woman who slept four hours last night, connect her training to how she'll move in labor, and use every rest interval to train her nervous system, not just her muscles.

Because we birth how we live. How she meets hard efforts in training is practice for how she'll meet labor.

And when she needs more than you can give, you know exactly who to send her to.

If you read these slides and thought "not yet," that's what the BIRTHFIT Coach Accelerator is for: four calls over eight weeks, starting October 27. Enrollment closes October 24. Link in bio.

Save this and come back to it after your next prenatal session. 💪

It’s what we don’t see that shapes our everyday habits and actions. These are just a few that continue to shape me.

No destination in sight, just here for the journey. And so far it’s full if LIFE 🤍 It’s all happening FOR us 🤍

To the sweet babies we didn’t get to meet, I thank you for the months of complete peace in my body. Pregnancy is a gift of clarity and calm for me, so that time was precious and not taken for granted. The plan was already written, and I’m starting to see the beauty in the ashes 🤍

Weeks don't tell you much. Trimesters give you generalizations. Neither tells you what she can handle today- in this present moment.

That's why we teach the BIRTHFIT Pregnancy Triangle: four levels she moves through as birth approaches.

In Season: Embracing training "in season" for birth and motherhood.
Calibrate: Narrowing her focus, getting clear on her values and desires, and embracing prenatal-specific programming.
Prehab: Preparing her body for birth and beyond.
Surrender: Nourishing her body, maintaining range of motion, and moving daily.

She can move up or down. There are no week-based cutoffs, and pain is never the signal to shift.

The Triangle was inspired by Dr. Margie Davenport's 5-Step Guide to Stay in Play During Pregnancy. Her work showed that movement through pregnancy doesn't have to follow a calendar. Thank you Dr. Margie for your research.

Save this for your next pregnant athlete. And stay tuned: we'll show you what does tell you when to shift.

Enrollment closes October 24. Link in bio.

Got pelvic imbalances?

Try this spin on the classic child’s pose.

All you need is a yoga block and a curiosity to explore your body.

Simply put the yoga block under one shin. Then assume the regular child’s pose. Do a couple of diaphragm breaks and switch sides.

Keep it simple. ✌️🌴☀️

One question. That's the whole habit. ☀️

"Are you getting outside in the first hour of your day?"

It's simple enough to actually use, and her answer tells you about her sleep, her schedule, her support at home, and sometimes how she's really doing.

Sunlight builds the terrain. You can teach, build habits, and program outdoor sessions. We don't promise a treatment; we simply allow the innate intelligence of Nature to do her thing. And if a postpartum client shows signs of depression or anxiety, referral is still the plan.

Try it in your next three conversations this week. Tell me what it opens up. 👇

The fastest way to lose a client on the Sun pillar? Make it sound like homework. ☀️

A pregnant or postpartum woman doesn't need one more thing on her list. So don't add it. Stack it onto something she already does: the first feed by the door, the dog walk before nine, the warm-up outside.

When she pushes back, keep your answers short, honest, and ending in something she can do. Respect the concern, skip the lecture.

One cue. Not a protocol. Once it runs on its own, you can build from there.
