@hitchkiofficial is Calgary’s largest Indian buffet with 150+ items! We love bringing friends and family here for the huge space and the variety of food. They’re constantly making items fresh, like the naan, jalebi and dosa. Our favourites are definitely the 𝗗𝗼𝘀𝗮, the 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 and the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗶. 🇮🇳

They even have a kids section, dessert bar, and even pizzas made fresh in their wood-fired oven! There’s definitely something for everyone to try.

@thewilderooftop is located on the 27th floor of @thedorianhotel and has views of Calgary that are to die for. @chefdennispeckham recently joined the team at The Wilde, and we got a sneak peek at all the new items coming this fall. Chef put lots of thought into each item, and there wasn’t one that we didn’t love. Definitely a place to check out if you haven’t been yet! 🍂

@costco_canada is now carrying one of our favourite Korean street foods, 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗸𝗸𝗶! @hoya.canada’s toppoki is chewy rice cakes cooked with veggies in a sweet and spicy sauce. The box comes with 4 individually packed trays for $13.99, and it’s ready in just 3 minutes in the microwave. 🔥

Add your favourite mix ins like cheese, green onions or ramen noodles to make it your own. 🧀

𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗳𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 is a new item from @innofoods now available at @costco_canada. Made with real blueberry puree and packed with fibre, so it actually feels good to eat before a busy morning. It’s got a great crunch, isn’t overly sweet, and pairs so well with high-protein milk if you want something quick but filling! Perfect for back to school mornings when you need something easy. 🫐🥣

Exciting news! @pizzamarukatsuya West Springs is having their grand opening this weekend from Sept 5 - 6. During this time, their entire menu will be 20% off. We love their light and crispy katsu, their 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘂 being our favourite. Their pizzas are also a must try, and we always add a special crust (we chose the Crown Crust this time!). 🍕🎉

Oh yes we do have this at home! 🏡🚙 @shakeshackca has officially opened their first ever drive thru location in Canada! This new location is located on Macleod Trail, serving their signature burgers like the Shack Burger and crinkle cut fries (cheese sauce is a must for us!). And don’t worry, there’s dine in as well for those who want to sit down and enjoy their meal! 🍔

@junoon_cafe is a new cafe in Cornerstone, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, grabbing a coffee, or catching up with friends! We loved the variety of items they have to offer, from their 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶, a delicious platter featuring naan, rice, and curry, to their wide selection of sweets and desserts. There’s something for everyone here, and it’s a great addition to the area. Definitely add this spot to your list and stop by!

@tasteofasiayyc is officially here from now until August 23! There’s a wide range of Asian eats, from desserts and skewers to drinks, so there’s something for everyone. Each item ranges from 2–10 tickets, with most food items falling on the higher end.

We tried a variety of items and especially loved the @balcony_grill_ab AAA beef finger meat skewers, and beef udon from @yebis_sanuki_udon. 🤤

The weather is looking great, so definitely head out and check it out before it’s gone!

@aycekbbqyyc just opened a new location in Royal Oak NW! You can pick and choose your favourite meats and appetizers, then bring them back to your table to grill yourself. 🥩🔥

They also have a ramen station that pairs perfectly with the KBBQ meats! We love being able to choose exactly how much meat we want to grill, along with their pots of Korean soup that are ready to enjoy. 🍜 Add a milk bingsu for just a couple more dollars to finish off your feast! 🍧

@zipbab_calgary is a Korean restaurant now open in Marda Loop! They serve their main items on trays alongside banchan (Korean side dishes) and rice. We were most intrigued by their 𝗗𝘄𝗲𝗷𝗶 𝗚𝗼𝗺𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴, which was featured in the latest season of Culinary Class Wars! This dish stood out to us, the broth was light yet savoury and served with thin slices of pork and rice.
