WEEK 5 | PLAYER DEVELOPMENT 🏈

This week at Clay-Chalkville Middle School, we focused on SELF-DISCIPLINE & PERSONAL INITIATIVE.

Development doesn’t stop when practice ends. What are you doing when nobody is watching?

We challenged our players to take ownership of their development, identify areas they need to improve, and take the initiative to get better without always waiting for someone to tell them what to do.

We also added a player-to-player interview, giving our athletes an opportunity to learn from one another, communicate, and hear different perspectives from their teammates.

Take ownership. Stay consistent. Get 1% better every day.

Today’s player development went beyond football.

Our athletes wrote handwritten letters to their parents/guardians to recognize their sacrifices, support, and love.

We’re not just developing athletes—we’re developing young men who know how to appreciate, communicate, and say thank you.

Beyond the Game. 💯 by @bj_deep
