WEEK 5 | PLAYER DEVELOPMENT 🏈

This week at Clay-Chalkville Middle School, we focused on SELF-DISCIPLINE & PERSONAL INITIATIVE.

Development doesn’t stop when practice ends. What are you doing when nobody is watching?

We challenged our players to take ownership of their development, identify areas they need to improve, and take the initiative to get better without always waiting for someone to tell them what to do.

We also added a player-to-player interview, giving our athletes an opportunity to learn from one another, communicate, and hear different perspectives from their teammates.

Take ownership. Stay consistent. Get 1% better every day.

Today’s player development went beyond football.

Our athletes wrote handwritten letters to their parents/guardians to recognize their sacrifices, support, and love.

We’re not just developing athletes—we’re developing young men who know how to appreciate, communicate, and say thank you.

Beyond the Game. 💯

#FlipTheCulture Inducted into the Hall of Fame🙏🏾

One year after I posted the last photo, in this slide, to my Snapchat, I got my jersey retired.

Three years after I posted the last photo, in this slide, to my Snapchat, I was inducted into the MDF Hall of Fame.

Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”

God exceeded what I spoke into existence. The goal has always been impact.

They threw me to the wolves…
But along the journey I realized that the wolves they thought would chase me…
Ended up following me. 🐺👑

From tearing every major ligament in my knee… to losing the coaches who believed in me… to finding purpose beyond the game.

Modern Day Fitness didn’t just build my body — it helped me discover who I really am.

This Hall of Fame moment? It’s for every athlete trying to figure out what’s next.
The game ends, but your story doesn’t.

🖤 We don’t stop — we evolve.
