And just like that, #BaltimoreComicCon 2026 is over!

Being honest, this one was rough for me. There were a lot of personal things keeping me from being truly present. To fight it, I went back to my photography days.

Simple headshots with a little point-and-shoot. People whose work has inspired me. Many I’ve befriended along the way. All of whom I’m grateful to have seen. I took so many of these yearbook photos, I now have to figure out something to do with them 🤣

Thanks to @jrsosa18 and @adventcomics for their hospitality in the city. And HUGE thanks to each of you who stopped to offer condolences, express appreciation, and even pray for my family. The best part of comics is the community, and every convention outing really brings that home for me. taken in Baltimore Convention Center by @bjkicks

Ordered these stickers a month ago, then lost the envelope in a stack of junk mail and forgot about it. So pleasantly surprised to open them this morning! Lol thanks @geoffreyscomics for the quick shipping! by @bjkicks

This hit us hard, but I’m grateful to God we don’t have to face it alone. Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.

If you see me at a show and I seem out of it, please don’t take it personally. Grief is kinda like a backpack you never get to take off. Eventually, I’ll get strong enough to carry it well. by @bjkicks
