Miles x Illmatic 🔥🕷️

I had @adigranov sign the new gold variants shoutout @massappeal @gothamthriftny @sexualchocolatecomics, but THIS one needed the red remarque! His Spider-Man No. 1 Nas homage hits even harder now. Awesome artist and an awesome dude! 🎤🗽

From South Carolina to Benedict College to working on some incredible projects across Marvel and DC Comics! 🔥🎨📚

I had the pleasure of sitting down with the amazing Sanford Greene my frat brother on The IT Factor Podcast to talk about his journey, what led him to attend and graduate from Benedict College, and how he turned his passion for drawing into an incredible career in the comic book industry.

We talked about some of his favorite projects, including Bitter Root, Doom #1, Wolverine #17, Spider-Man vs. Superman #1, Darkseid vs. The World, and so much more!

We also discussed the connection between hip-hop and comics, his work with the Ink Alliance, creating Legend Has It with Marvel and Mass Appeal, and his advice for the next generation of artists and illustrators.

One of my favorite takeaways? When I asked Sanford about his IT Factor, his answer was that drawing was all he could do — there were no Plan Bs!

That right there speaks to passion, purpose, and commitment to your craft. 🙌🏾

Go watch the full conversation on YouTube, show Sanford some love, and make sure you pick up Darkseid vs. The World on October 28!

What is YOUR favorite Sanford Greene project? Let us know in the comments! 👇🏾
