The destination matters. So does who you make the trip with.

Good people. New places. Shared experience.

Keep going.

Get outside. Stay curious. Leave it better than you found it.

Some of the best perspective comes from places with no cell service and no schedule.

Todays instructor: @justinhowe___ 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

An absolute marksman of a man 🔥 Thanks for the time in sharing the info & ammo. Feeling more comfortable/less intimidating around firearms is a win!

And taking the time to shoot some distant targets was therapy!

MP5 22lr was the favourite with almost no recoil. And the MK12 coming in a close 2nd.

Thankyou from the UK 🇬🇧

Good conditions don’t build capable men.

Dug holes for hours in the pouring rain for a shooting stage. Then put the kit on and walked the back “roads” I haven’t been on in years!! taken in Mount Monadnock by @black_pine_directive

Speed means nothing if you lose control.
Smooth entries. Deliberate movement.
Eyes ahead of the pistol.

Capability isn’t loud.
It’s repeatable.

Not operators.
Not influencers.
Just men refusing to be unprepared.

(Looking up to the summit of Mount Monadnock should give perspective of 110lb rucking it under NODS) taken in Mount Monadnock Jaffrey New Hampshire by @black_pine_directive

Some people may not understand why we were so pumped about the making the Momadnock Summit under nods. This is NOT a flex I just wanna break down how tough it was.. and the weight carried. I’ve lived here my whole life I’ve seen casual hikers tap out after 1 hour.

On Body: 65lbs
Vakarian Plate carrier
8 rifle magazines, 3 pistol magazines.
IFAK+TQ’s+My @gbrsgroup belt setup.
Ops core + Wilcox mount + ops core arms
Katana R housing/Bino’s + Bino’s + batteries + Water
Dog shit crye pants+multi upper layers +gortex boots
URGI slung the whole time.
Tungsten p320 in my tier 3 Safariland holster

On Back: 45lbs
Ruck w/ sustainment
MP5 + suppressor (for added weight, got rid of it today because I don’t ever wanna see it again)
Extra ammo + cold weather layers
Food+more water+medical+batteries etc.

Total: ~95–110 lbs moving uphill.
30% incline for 2 miles for a 1850 ft elevation gain

The pace was decent. 2 hour summit under nods. (Anyone who knows white dot, it’s brutal, it’s basically sheer rock climbing at points)

If you wanna test yourself.. I highly suggest it!! My legs.. non existent by @black_pine_directive

Black Pine Directive in a nut shell 😂 I wouldn’t trade the bond I’ve formed with these guys for anything. The amount of support and love they show for everyone.

God Bless taken in Appalachian Mountains by @black_pine_directive

Redacted Scripture- The black boxes hide the things that aren’t good for you.

Weekend Download- PART 2 (4/19)

Made the trip over to @advancedactionsports - Warwick where I linked up with @justinhowe___ and members of the @black_pine_directive and the real steal shooters put their gear and skills to the test! For most of them this was their first time playing and doing force in force style training! Good thing I have so many replicas!!

Having a good time during the walk on skirmishes, learning the field and its dynamics, and learning hard lessons of checking all angles, but that’s why we practice and train!

But when the lights went out, the NVG’s came on. Working more of the skills and going through the motions of the very complex CQB layout as a small, clearing rooms, cutting door angles, and sweeping for intel under the no light conditions!

Huge shout out and thank you @b.i.m_lucky02 and some of the BIM boys for coming out and going head to head with these guys and showing them how we do it!

As always thank you Big John and the @advancedactionsports team for their hospitality, facility, and doing all that they do for the NE Airsoft community!
