3 days to THE RED DOOR 🚪♥️

It feels strange to even say it.

After all the planning, the details, the days on the farm… In three days, we’ll be together— sharing the same space, the same meals, resting together.

There’s something really tender about knowing that everyone is making their way towards us.

We can’t wait to welcome you.

3 days to The Red Door. 🚪

Tickets are available through the link in our bio 🎟️ 🔗

🍃 🖊️ 🙏🏽 🔥
Yesterday we told you about the plate; today we introduce the ✨ MOURNING ROUTINE ✨

Beginning after Noon, the experience honours the workers lives which rarely align with office hours.

There is no expectation; this is a space to reconnect, and move through whatever you’re carrying in community, at your own pace. Every element designed to support regulation, collective care, and release.

🍃 You can make your way to the Herbalism Station, where you can create your own herbal blend from a curated selection of herbs while learning about their traditional uses from our facilitators.

🖊️ 📄 Put pen to paper during the Grief Release Ritual and name what you are ready to release. And if you choose, your notes, letters, memories, or burdens can be offered to a communal fire ritual, creating space for reflection, witnessing, and letting go.

🍽️ Then eat. Linger. Talk. Journal. Rest.

There is no agenda beyond presence. No expectation to perform, explain, or leave having magically “moved on.”

The space welcomes solitude and connection equally.

Sit a while with us (or alone if you prefer) and grieve. ♥️

A note to our community.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve received questions about October 9–10, The Red Door, Sex Down South, and Karnival of K|nk, produced by Pleasure & Power Summit, which is happening the same weekend.

Swipe through for our full statement.

After this, our attention remains where it has been: getting ready for Rest & Radical Daydreaming with everyone coming through The Red Door.

Food has long been one of the most profound languages of love for us all. At The Red Door, food is part of how we hold community. 🙌🏾

Historically, Breaking Bread has been a way to share resources, create income, and survive. Now we Break Bread to give workers a moment to breathe, sit, connect, laugh, and process the day. 🌅

Each $50 contribution helps by providing brunch, breakfast, our Final Supper, snacks, hydration, and hospitality for workers throughout the Unconference. 💕

You don’t need to be there to show you care. You can put something on the table from wherever you are.

Break bread with us. Because, simply put, a bitch gotta eat. 😜

Today we challenge the stigma.

S work is work, and all work deserves dignity, fairness, security and autonomy.

This International Equal Pay Day, The Red Door looks beyond the paycheck becuase Worker labor makes this 🌍 go round.

The Red Door believes that everyone deserves the chance to build a life, whatever their work looks like.

Economic justice means ensuring stigma never stands between a worker and their security. 💰

Stand with the community. Listen to their stories. Amplify their voices. 📢

Put money, resources and deeds in their hands.🫱🏿‍🫲🏾

WHAT WOULD YOU BRING THROUGH THE RED DOOR? 🚪

A skill? A practice? An experiment? A conversation? A wild idea?

The Red Door isn’t built around a schedule.
We build it together 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾🫱🏿‍🫲🏾🫱🏼‍🫲🏿🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

The Session Marketplace is an invitation for registered attendees to propose the spaces they want to see, lead and experience at our UNconference.

You don’t need to be a professional facilitator. You don’t need a perfectly polished workshop.

Bring what you know. Bring what you want to cultivate with others. Bring curiosity. 💕

The space is yours:
🌱 Skill shares
🌱 Demonstrations
🌱 Movement + embodiment
🌱 Conversations
🌱 Experiments
🌱 Or something we haven’t imagined yet.

Advance submissions close September 28.
Apply through the link in our bio 🔗— OR bring your idea with you.

Come with an idea. Leave having made it possible.

THESE 304s GOT LAND TO TEND.

There is something about seeing Black folks, queer folks and workers with our hands in the dirt. 🤘🏾

Land carries history.

For Black and Indigenous people, that history holds cultivation and stewardship, displacement and stolen labor, survival, resistance, ancestry and generations of relationship with the earth.

For workers, land and private space are deeply connected to autonomy, safety, privacy and the ability to gather on our own terms.

That makes tending this land meaningful. 🪴

Over the past few months, workers, artists, organizers, healers, friends and community have been coming to Wild Rest Farms to clear, paint, plant, build, eat, rest and slowly shape The Red Door together. ⚒️ 🧤 🚪

At the center of that work is the Workers’ Rest Garden, a living archive of worker presence where flowers, plants and installations are taking root alongside places to gather, remember, laugh, dream and rest. 💕

Come put your hands in the dirt with us.
