WHAT WE KNOW • Steven Deering is the COD officers who slung Darrius Chappel by his locals and then released his dog to attack him• The six-page CPD canine policy states an officer must give verbal warnings and allow a suspect to surrender before releasing a dog.• WSMV requested body camera video from the incident to determine whether those warnings were given. The department refused to release that footage.• Darius Chappel died in a Montgomery County Jail Cell by @blackclarksville
