There are quite a few new faces on the TL and people Im realizing “know me” but don’t know me, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

✌🏾I’m Tiff✌🏾
I’m a middle Tennessee marketing and communications professional currently working in the non-profit sector.

I am the founder of @blackclarksville a community organization dedicated to uplifting, supporting, and empowering the black community in Clarksville, TN

I am also the owner and lead event designer at @accordingtoplanevents events. 🎉🎉

When I’m not working (🫠sheesh when am I not working ) I’m a crafty bih who enjoys a little cosplay and a live show.

Early voting for the August 6 election begins this Friday, July 17- August 1. I encourage everyone to vote early if they can to be able to have more schedule flexibility and potentially avoid long lines and wait time.

The August 6 election will have major impact LOCALLY. Local elects are what truly impact your day to day life.
I’m talking
- School
- Roads
- Taxes
- Courts
- Sidewalks
- Attractions and Entertainment
- Access to resources

Yes, I am gonna need you to vote AGAIN in November, but please DON’T SIT THIS ONE OUT!

We MUST pay attention to the upcoming August 6 election. The August 6 ballot has multiple VERY IMPORTANT positions on it including
• County Mayor
• Sheriff
• County Commissioners
• School Board
• Circuit Court Clerk
• General Session & Juvenile Court Judge

These people impact our schools, our quality of life, our taxes, our services, and our access to resources. WE CANNOT SIT THIS ONE OUT!!

Make a plan to vote and preferably vote early

I can’t lie, the month of June always feels like everything everywhere all at once. It is the busiest most event heavy time of year, and at the same time the most rewarding.

We launched our inaugural Miss Clarksville Juneteenth Pageant in 2025 with 9 beautiful young ladies. It was EVERYTHING!!

This year we double our contestants numbers with 18 amazing young ladies and added a new age group bringing in the best little cutie pops I could’ve asked for.

To know me is to know I be crying and whew did this year’s pageant bring on the tears. Looking out from back stage of was so proud of the legacy our inaugural queens had started and how much the vision had grown in just one year.

What an amazing thing to see so many young black girls and women take the stage and showcase their best selves while being supported and cheered on by a crowd of their loved ones and community members.

To all involved in making this happen each year, I am grateful 🙏🏾. To all the girls who competed this year, I am so proud of you 🫶🏾. To our 2025 queens, yal are my babies ALWAYS 🤞🏾. To our 2026 queens, it’s your time to shine 👑. And last but certainly not least!!! To my pageant director, Frankie, I value everything you put into making this experience excellent 👩🏾‍🐰‍👩🏽.
