POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

About a year ago I took my first bite from a dog and began my decoying journey. I’ve made a huge strides since then thanks to my mentor @dogdaddyfabian and the members of @dogtribepsa for trusting me with their dogs while I’ve been learning.

Next stop is attempting to become a Certified PSA decoy at camp in a few weeks.

Good Evening Friends,
I am happy to announce that Kenai is out of surgery for his cancerous mass. He did very well on anesthesia and is currently resting with me at home. Were are now officially on the road to recovery with post-op care. We have 2 weeks and we go back for suture removals.

I can’t even begin to put into words how much everyone’s support through this ordeal means to me. As I write this I have tears of gratitude streaming down my face. Sincerely thank you to everyone who donated to and shared the fundraiser for his operation!! Truly I could not have done this without you all. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @blackmanek9

Hello friends and followers! Some of you may not know this but I originally created this account to share the adventure of my beloved Golden retriever mix Kenai with the world. In fact the name Blackmane_K9 come from Kenai basically being a Black Golden retriever.

Now that I have you attention I have to share that Kenai had developed a possible life threatening skin mass on his chest, diagnosed as a mast cell tumor or possibly lymphoma. Regardless his vet recommended surgery to have it removed as soon as possible. Needless to say the surgery is going to be expensive, estimated ~$2500. Below is a link to a go fund me page I have created to help cover a portion of the cost. If you are unable to donate I only ask that you share this post so it can reach those that can. Thank you in advance for helping Kenai so we can continue our adventures. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Going for a little (skip) drive at club.

Club this weekend kicked my butt, I know I have a long road ahead of me before I’m ready for the cert camp in September. Gotta hit the weights and cardio! 💪🏻
