Well y’all, it’s finally happening!

From growing the business in a spare bedroom, to a basement, and now this… I’m excited to announce my commercial retail space at the Pepperell Mill in Biddeford!

More room to grow, more varieties, and most importantly.. more ability to supply the chefs, restaurants, and bars that have supported this business along the way.

I have so much gratitude and appreciation for everyone who has supported me along this journey. I wouldn’t be here without you guys. You know who you are! 💚

Our white tee was designed by @studio__andrel and we couldn’t have asked for a better concept to capture our ethos at Black Oak Micros. “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents”

This mustard green flat may have spent a little too much time in production.. our pals over at @breadandfriendsmaine love our larger, grown to order flats..

..buut, this one got a little too large, started to bolt, and produced these lovely vibrant yellow flowers. Bright, delicate, peppery, brassica-y flavor. Had I thrown it away I would’ve never stumbled upon these pretty lil gals!

Sometimes the best crops are the ones you didn’t plan on growing 🙂
