Thank you @stridemartialarts for an incredible summer of learning jiu jitsu. I’ve loved watching my brother compete for a while now and finally had the chance to compete myself even if I rushed myself! My first tournament was only a month in, 20lbs under, with a knee contusion and a sprained toe. I did not compete well but I learned through the fire. My second tournament was closer to my weight, still dealing with my knee contusion but able to get my first submission via arm bar. I am forever grateful that God has given me the strength to compete and shown me how it taste to lose. I can’t wait to come back next summer healthy and ready to fight! by @blaize_v_27

THANK YOU
Thank you for all the people who got me to this point in not just track and field but in life. I’ve had great coaches, great role models, and a fast runner to chase. I’m forever grateful for these people and many more. I have so much more to prove and I will be taking it to the next level.

I finished my career with:
5 state medals
4x all state 110m hurdler
6th place in class 2 in 2022
6th place in class 3 in 2023
7th place in class 3 in 2024
2nd place in class 3 in 2025
2x state qualifier for high jump
1x all state 300m hurdler
4th place in class 3 in 2025
300mIH district champ in 2023
110mHH section champ 2025
2x High Jump conference champion 24,25
And many more team awards

A special thanks again to my cheering squad, my coaches, and all the people who in some way or another pushed me to better. by @blaize_v_27

“God gave me second, because my race is not yet won”

Not how I wanted to end my career for Lawson’s track team but that doesn’t mean I’m not proud of it. I came a long way from where I started and although my final dance didn’t go to plan and was messed with, I’m still proud of what I was able to do and very thankful for all the people who got me to this point.

PR’s
110mHH-14.80s
300mIH-40.37s
HJ-1.90m

I ran a 14.84 for 2nd at finals for state and ran a 40.37 for 4th in the 300m finals as well. I sadly underperformed at State as I had recently been struggling in high jump and jumped an astonishing low of 1.84m placing me at 9th for the second year in a row. I have so much more to prove and will.

From my house getting burnt, to your defense getting burnt. This season was one I was not sure I wanted to participate but it turned into one of the hardest goodbyes. I’m going to miss playing with this senior group and this brotherhood. by @blaize_v_27
