Finally an alumni 👩🏻‍🎓 🎓

Final week ✅ graduation ✅ senior year of track ✅
…

Took some time to make this post because I wanted it to feel real. But I’m still in disbelief it’s over. I couldn’t have made it through highschool without my friends, family, mentors, and supporters. I will forever be proud of graduating from Lawson and I will be glad to stay close to come because my community has never failed me. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through school and during track.

For track… I couldn’t have completed my first years without my friends. Freshman and sophomore year were genuinely the time of my life. All the way up until Junior year where my parents and family came in to hold my hand through my season. I learned that sometimes just having some close friends and family goes a much longer way than having a big group. I learned more about myself and how to hold my head up high and not listen to what others think of you. High school will forever be a cherished memory for me along with the many lessons I was taught. Thank you LHS and the community for helping me become the person I am today.

A new chapter begins in Christ.

After placing my rock at young life camp in 2024 I declared I accepted Christ into my life and my life has never been the same. I started going to church in December 2024 after looking for a church for months. I went to a new camp during June 2025 and realized the next step was getting baptized. After struggling Junior year with school and sports some of the only things keeping me going were family and Jesus. Which made my relationship with God stronger leading me to make this decision. I am so blessed for everyone that answered my questions about my faith and encouraged me to get baptized. I love all of you and I couldn’t have done it without you!
