Having had some time to reflect on Old Tom this year I'm left feeling incredibly grateful. The sacrifice and service my family put in to help me take on the race is so special, could not have done it without them.

Hitting the same wall two years in a row was tough, I truly wanted to hit that 24 hour mark this year and ultimately I hit my main goal of not giving up in the chair by timing out in the 19th hour but something will have to change to hit those extended hours. Ultra running always brings out another layer of yourself, and I'm proud of how I didn't give up when things got tough.

The convos between old pals and new ones is always the best, being part of the event feels like such a privilege and it's truly one of my favorite days of the year. The runners, crews, and organizers bring the vibes and I'm thankful to have been apart of it 🦃 by @blakeheartsyou
