There is a difference between friends and brothers.
Friends are formed by convenience.
Brothers are forged by blood, not family blood, but the blood, sweat, and tears of a shared purpose. Years out of sight. Years of suffering. Years in darkness, sharpening each other toward an impossible end.
We crossed oceans for this path.
Carried weight no one saw.
Stood side by side when doubt was louder than belief.
Now success appears inevitable.
But there was a season when they questioned.
A season when they doubted.
We knew the truth.

That is what separates friends from brothers.
And a brother I am blessed to say I have.

Took Care of Business.

Today I took 2nd place out in San Jose.

It was hot, I wasn’t 100% healthy, and it hurt.

None of that matters because in this game it’s whoever crossed the line first is the best.

I will be back even better.

A couple months of training and I will be back racing in December.

1:14:32 - Half Marathon

It really does take a village. Firstly I wouldn’t be able to make it this far without my mom.

Next, to my great friends and family. I appreciate your support so much and it means a lot to me to know I have so many great people that believe in me and support me.

And to everyone else. I hope you are able to draw the inspiration that truly you can achieve whatever you believe you can. The only limits are the ones you place in your own head.
