Screaming Happy Birthday to my one and only!!
My sister from the same damn mama and Mister! This last year of life has thrown us some serious curveballs! I’d never want another sister by my side to walk this walk, or help me walk when all I can do at the moment is crawl. And vice versa! I’ve got to be with you during the most pivotal times! From watching you become a mama, to become a full on Gigi that Ailah is obsessed with! And now look at us, raising our damn parents! 😭😂 love you like no other! My one and only! ❤️

Today is THE DAY!! My babies are 𝔼𝕀𝔾ℍ𝕋𝔼𝔼ℕ 🥲
What turned out from what sometimes seemed like the longest days, became the shortest and fastest years!
My two “eggs” 🥚🥚 are officially adults! Young Men! Young 𝔹𝕃𝔸ℂ𝕂✊🏾✊🏾 men!
The joy you two have brought into my life is immeasurable. God gives you what he knows you can handle, at times I thought I wasn’t cut out for this “Black Job” but ohhhhh I was! I most certainly was, the strength I didn’t know I had in me, came right on out!

30 whole years ago my heart burst the moment you were born! It seems like only a few years ago you were hanging with me on campus at Sac State. Time is a thief! 😞

Back in the day with my nephew and niece, I bought them shoes from @nordstrom when they turned 1, because, well…why not? I’m THAT Auntie!! Besides I did work there (at the time) sooooo ya know! 😉well now that my baby that said niece had for me just turned 1, I decided to do the same thing, only now they have the Nordstrom 1st Shoe Experience! 🥺 So off we went to @nordstromrosevillegalleria and she had a blast! We then went and had lunch @range_roseville (notice her dancing after her bite of Mac and Cheese—She loved it!) and was knocked out in the car!! Today is the day!
One year ago, I got to watch you make the world a better place! As I watched you take your 1st breath of life, just like when your Mom and Uncle were born, you absolutely 100% took mine away! I went from just an Auntie to Fun-tie!!
I can’t believe a year has already passed 🥺
You’re walking and talking! I hope that you will always get excited when u see me! (Not Uncle Brian 😏) May you keep that infectious laugh, that Big Smile that lights up a room and just draws you in, and ALWAYS keep that fire (that Johnson-blood)! I love you so much! Well today is the day!!!
My bestie’s b-day…My sister from another Mrs..AND Mister!!
Who knew shopping at Nordstrom at the same time over 2 decades ago, would bring us to where we are today 🥺. From our days on Napkin Nights 🤭…our love for brightly colored tops, our big feet 🦶🏾 our love of all things Black (as in people) ✊🏾 me actually NOT playing a practical joke and actually having twins (😒) you loving me and them and most importantly seeing and being with me during some of my lowest of lows.
