Blanilla is a Romanian DJ and producer with two decades of experience in the electronic music scene. Known for seamlessly blending breakbeat, UK Garage, 2-step, drum & bass, and house, he has played hundreds of gigs across Romania and beyond, from intimate club nights to massive festivals. Blanilla's productions have been released on iconic labels like Sound Of Habib, VIM Records, Ego Shot, and Distinctive Records. In 2015, his edit of Disclosure's "Defeated No More" earned a nomination for Best Free Track at the Breakspoll Awards.

Sugar (David Sugár) is an eclectic DJ and passionate music collector from Cluj-Napoca, known for his refined selections and story-driven sets. With a solid foundation in vinyl culture and a genuine love for grooves from around the world, Sugar blends soul, funk, jazz, disco, house, and experimental electronica in a unique and cohesive way. He has played in some of the most important venues and festivals in Romania and has shared the stage with top artists, both local and international. He is also involved in projects such as MeloMelanj record store, Scuzati Melanjul radio show on Black Rhino Radio and Melanj a trois on Radio Cluj.

D’ Jhu, alongside Eujah, is a founding member, of Genmaica Soundsystem, a collective and sound system known for pushing vibrant bass culture and Caribbean-influenced sound across dancefloors and communities. With deep roots in reggae, dub, jungle and global bass, D’Jhu brings an unmistakable energy to every session - whether behind the decks or curating the vibes behind the scenes.
Beyond the sound system scene, D’Jhu, is also one of the driving minds behind Melomelanj Record Store, which journey began in 2021 alongside Sugàr.

This is an unreleased track I recorded about 10 years ago in a studio that used to be in one of my best friend’s homes. The studio is gone now and my friend is no longer with us, but the music and the memories live on. Missing you every day, bro ❤️

Starting from Sfântu Gheorghe, he’s played across Romania in cities like Cluj, Bucharest, Timișoara, Iași, Brașov, and Sibiu, as well as major festivals including Electric Castle, Untold, Durusa, Peninsula, FanFest, and SnowRide. Over the years, he has shared the stage with names like Mobb Deep, Jeru the Damaja, Dope DOD, Wilkinson, Stanton Warriors, JFB, and many more. Rooted in old-school rap, his sets flow with intensity, shifting from hip-hop to funk, house, UKG, and drum’n’bass, always adapting to the crowd and energy.

Happy New Year, friends! It’s been a minute, but I’m back and properly focused on music this year. To prove it, I’m starting by releasing a bunch of tracks that never saw the light of day and finally giving my Bandcamp some much-needed love after years of being a bit neglected and lonely.

I got to hang out with Angel Rusu / Blanilla when I went to Electric Castle in 2023, after connecting with him via Johan SOH. I have followed his music deeply since, and was really excited to have him on board for an album remix.

A bit of an institution in Romania, he has been publishing music for about 15 years, and his recent material has garnered lots of attention for it's sampladelic, bouncey, steppy vibe.

His label Ruffinaments drops wicked bass-heavy music that nods to soundclash, dub, uk garage, 2-step, breaks, and lots of the absolute best bits of rave culture.
