From experimental sound art to raw Detroit techno, this lineup brings together two artists whose work exists somewhere between the dance floor, deep listening and the spaces in between.

Berlin based sound artist, composer and DJ Dasha Rush has spent years pushing electronic music beyond conventional boundaries. Her work spans releases on Sonic Groove and Raster-Noton, alongside her own Fullpanda Records and Hunger to Create imprints. Blending dubby textures, intensity, atmosphere and experimentation, Rush treats genre as a starting point rather than a destination. Her live performances and multidisciplinary projects explore the relationship between machines, sound, movement and human experience.

Detroit’s Luke Hess brings a sound deeply rooted in the city’s underground. Influenced by the warehouse parties of the 1990s and armed with a background in mathematics and engineering, Hess approaches techno through frequencies, tones and detailed sound design. His productions have appeared on DeepLabs, FXHE, Planet E, Dolly, Rekids, Echocord and numerous other respected labels, while his hypnotic DJ and live performances have taken him to some of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals.

Headlining the night, EvilGroove Records brings LINDSEY HERBERT and BRALLE to Detroit for a showcase celebrating the label’s distinct approach to underground electronic music.

Blank Code is a Detroit, USA techno outfit that have released music by artists like Bas Mooy, Mike Parker, DJ Hyperactive, Brian Sanhaji, Drumcell, and many more.

North American producer Local Analyst returns to Blank Code with his ‘Desperation’ EP after emerging over the past few years as a compelling new voice in quality techno music. His back catalogue also contains releases on respected labels including Edit Select Records, Analogue Network, Joton’s Newrhythmic, Berlin’s PHTM, and Slovenia’s Cogo.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “The Way” which is energetic from the off. It uses a rolling rhythm of stuttering percussion and bellowing modular notes to create unique intensity in a futuristic, space-like void of tubular, cerebral satisfaction.

This weekend, Ø [Phase] returns to Detroit.

Those who were at Observe // Scene know exactly what happened. We’re beyond stoked to welcome him back, this time for a Lincoln Factory main stage performance.

Joining him is NYC artist and Basement resident Holden Federico. His music has been on our radar and at the forefront of our techno rotation for quite some time, and we’re finally bringing him to Detroit for his debut.

Representing Detroit, Jėck brings that raw, young Detroit spirit to every performance. With his first EP on Blank Code just around the corner, there’s no better time to celebrate what’s next.

Full Lineup Announcement! Ø [Phase] lands at The Lincoln Factory on October 3, 2026, presented by Blank Code & Lincoln Factory, alongside Holden Federico and Detroit up-and-comer Jėck.

For more than two decades, Ø [Phase] has developed a stripped-back, relentlessly precise sound, with releases on Token and his own Modwerks label, collaborations with Luke Slater, Matrixxman and Underworld, and remixes for Robert Hood, Len Faki and Rødhåd.

Holden Federico brings a modern approach to techno built around driving low-end energy, vivid themes, grit, soul and detailed dub textures. His DJ sets combine diverse textures and smart pacing with a deep respect for techno’s history. Holden also curates 90s Techno Redux, an online project dedicated to uncovering obscure tracks and sleeper classics from techno’s formative years.

Joining them is Jėck, one of Detroit’s emerging artists pushing the city’s underground forward.

From his early work at Sony Music London as a mastering engineer to becoming a principal artist on Token Records and launching his own Modwerks label, his influence runs deep through the underground.

His catalog includes collaborations with Luke Slater as Roog Unit and Matrixxman as Phyxix, alongside co productions with Underworld and definitive remixes for Robert Hood, Len Faki, and Rødhåd.
