EvilGroove. - BLANKCODE DETROIT

Much love to @blankcodedetroit for having me out and bringing together such a great night of techno in Detroit.

Grateful to have shared the decks alongside @_lindseyherbert , @bralle.gentian , @_echofon_ , and @lo_fi_la_. Nothing but respect and appreciation for every artist who brought their sound and energy to the night.

@evilgrooverecords

Big thank you to everyone behind the scenes, the organizers, sound crew, staff, and everyone who came out to dance and support the music. @marbledetroit

Always grateful for the connections, the music, and the people who keep Detroit’s underground moving.

DT:Premiere | Local Analyst - The Way [Blank Code]

-
Blank Code is a Detroit, USA techno outfit that have released music by artists like Bas Mooy, Mike Parker, DJ Hyperactive, Brian Sanhaji, Drumcell, and many more.

North American producer Local Analyst returns to Blank Code with his ‘Desperation’ EP after emerging over the past few years as a compelling new voice in quality techno music. His back catalogue also contains releases on respected labels including Edit Select Records, Analogue Network, Joton’s Newrhythmic, Berlin’s PHTM, and Slovenia’s Cogo.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “The Way” which is energetic from the off. It uses a rolling rhythm of stuttering percussion and bellowing modular notes to create unique intensity in a futuristic, space-like void of tubular, cerebral satisfaction.

This track came out of the masterclass I completed with @anne__gr_ and @sera__j_music , and I’m really proud of this one. No samples — every element was designed from the ground up by me using techniques taught by them.

‘Echoes in Orbit’ out on @blankcodedetroit <3 I think this track represents the space nerd I am. Share some love!

Detroit delivered.

During Movement weekend, @xonedjofficial was proud to sponsor OBSERVE // SCENE // 2026, one of the standout official Sunday night after-parties, presented in collaboration with @observe_la and @blankcodedetroit.

Returning to techno's founding city, OBSERVE // SCENE brought an uncompromising night of raw, forward-focused techno—no excess, no distractions, just sound, space, and intention.

A huge thank you to Observe LA and Blank Code for inviting Xone DJ to be part of this special event and for helping showcase the Xone:96 in Detroit. As the official DJ mixer on the Lincoln Factory stage, the Xone:96 powered exclusive performances from @marron.ec , @renewise , @vonwolfenheiser.ox , @philippapacho , and @quelza_m throughout the night.

Renowned throughout the techno community for its analog warmth, powerful dual-filter architecture, and creative performance workflow, the Xone:96 remains a preferred choice for artists seeking maximum control and uncompromising sound quality.

We're proud to support the artists, promoters, and communities pushing techno culture forward.

Last year playing the festival itself was very special. However being involved within the circuit of parties before and after is another experience. Starting with the opening @blankcodedetroit @movementdetroit party and ending with FurtherxHomelessHomies @djbonegoesfurther allowed me to display forms of range as not just an DJ, but an artist.
I had some other bookings I’ll highlight soon, but these two specifically were on opposite ends of the spectrum but still within the umbrella of techno. Having your own footprint within different textures is a lifetime lesson that supersedes music and other forms of art. That being said it’s time to get back to what gives DJs the ability to do that, making some new tracks 🔊🔊
