Father of 2!

The last couple of days were a roller coaster for me. From getting confined in the hospital to my wife giving birth at the same time. It was like a movie from the lows to the highs.

I would like to formally introduce to you all my daughter, Avery :)

Thankful to God for all the blessings ❤️ by @blazerboy11

MORE THAN A MEDAL

This past few weeks have been a story.

I was tasked to form a team made up of youthful people to lead our nation to battle, but what we formed was more than what anyone could’ve asked for.

From our world cup team that battled giants each day, i saw warriors playing through their fullest despite the obvious disadvantages they had. It was truly inspiring to see them go above my expectations and proudly play out each game for our nation.

It inspired our asian games players to work even harder going into japan.

Going to Japan, i brought 4 individuals that were built for the task since day 1, they worked harder as anyone could and played harder than i could possibly asked of them.

What i most proudly loved about them is that they genuinely loved each other.

We had our ups and downs in the tournament, but they never showed any quit and just kept pushing until the final game.

I am just so proud of my team, i am so proud of my family!

We didnt lose the Gold, WE WON THE SILVER!

And in my heart, all of them are Medal worthy players and people!

I just want to thank everyone who supported us and guided us to this Historic finish for the country.

To our federation @samahangbasketbolngpilipinas led by ED @erikady16 Boss and the guidance of coach Ryan Gregorio.

To my amazing coaching staff @vplayug @ricofrnndz @_samanthasun @bgcavs11

To my senior players who mentored our youth team @camilleclarin @cachmeeee0 @tantoy_ferrer @bethpettingill @c_malag @g_baaade @pingol.kaye

To my family whos always been behind me

And to so many more people who help, the practice team, our sponsors @bwntph @stronggroupathl

The elusive chase for Gold continues…. 🙏🏻🥇🇵🇭 by @blazerboy11

Women’s basketball is more than a game to #GilasPilipinas Women’s 3x3 Head Coach @blazerboy11. It’s the most fulfilling work he’s done! 🔥

Here’s how being a father to young girls shapes his purpose. As @gilas3x3w prepares for the 2026 Asian Games, the dream isn’t just to bring home a medal — it’s to contribute towards a world where “the sky is the limit” for all Filipina girls.

“Character-Building”

Its always been a joy and close to my heart coaching the youth players. I get a chance to build with them and see them grow before they become superstars.

This group has given me lots of things to be proud of. Im just mostly proud of what they had to be and what they are definitely gonna be…… champions! On and off the court.

There were literally a lot of blood, sweat and TEARS this whole week and we had the highs and the lows as well. But thats what makes it so fullfilling, to be able to overcome the challenges and adversities in life and to learn how to clim those mountains.

These “mosquitoes” aka “the killas” fought and played hard and deserve to be called champions!

Special shoutout to our family, the seniors who everyday were here mentoring and motivating. Not just the players but also me.

Credit to our staff who were just tirelessly working hard day in and day out!

And big mention to our management of SBP and to our mens team with coach Kirk, coach Pat and Coach Ryan for helping me lead and guiding me.

The future is always now for us. We continue to strive for our country 🇵🇭 by @blazerboy11

A good friend told me, “every step counts”. And that exactly whats it all about. If you told me that we would be in Warsaw Poland for the World Cup a year ago, i wouldnt have believe it right away, but God certainly loves to keep us on our feet and surprise us with unimaginable things.

Im super grateful to have such an amazing group. To be part of something this historic can only be credited to the amount of love and passion our people in this program and in this family have.

To above and beyond with this family no matter what 🇵🇭❤️
