A warm welcome home to our Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 teams after capping off their 20th Asian Games stint in Nagoya with the country’s best-ever finish in the quadrennial meet 🥈.

Congratulations once again to Kacey Dela Rosa, Victoria Pasilang, Amyah Espanol, and Kennan Ka for bringing home the Silver, and Doy Dungo, Luis Pablo, Nic Cabañero, and Koji Buenaflor for making it all the way to the Bronze Medal Match.

As expressed by Women’s Coach Anton Altamirano, Men’s Coach Patrick Fran, and 3x3 Program Director Ryan Gregorio, there is so much to be proud of!

Getting this far has only made us hungrier to keep going for Gold in our next 3x3 tournaments.

HISTORY FOR FILIPINA HOOPERS. 🚀🥈 #GilasWomen 3x3 take home the #AsianGames2026 Silver Medal — the best-ever finish for the program!

💡 Here’s the context you need:
1. This is also the best finish among all #GilasPilipinas squads at the Asiad, as the only team with a podium finish.
2. Each of the players — @kisidlrs, @amyahespanol, @mvpasilang and @kennan.ka — will compete in the upcoming UAAP season. Even more reason to tune in to college hoops and see their experience in action!
3. Coach @blazerboy11 hopes that the milestone opens more opportunities for young Filipinas and rallies investment in women’s basketball.

👉 Swipe through to learn what drives this incredible squad. Congratulations, @gilas3x3w! #gohardgirls #womeninsports

1 year ago today 🇵🇭

The Philippines National Team coaches entrusted me with helping lead the search for the first-ever naturalized women’s player for Gilas 3x3 and the Senior National Team.

They described exactly what they were looking for—not just as a basketball player, but as a person and someone who could represent the Philippines the right way.

Elizabeth came from a smaller school and brought a unique combination of attributes that made her different. A year later, it’s safe to say she has been the perfect fit in every way.

It’s been incredible watching this journey unfold—from moving across the world to Manila, to getting her first taste of the @fiba3x3w World Tour, working with some amazing brands, representing the Philippines, and creating a chapter of her life she probably never imagined was possible.

Proud to have played a small part in bringing it all together, but even more proud of everything Elizabeth has done with the opportunity. 🇵🇭❤️

Good luck this week in Japan! Go make history. 🇵🇭🏀
