A bit of Grease on the old DiaCompe brake bushings really improves the performance and adjustability, not a bad design really , with new pads and proper angle adjustment these work quite well, and if there is too much play on the stud and the brake they have the bonus feature of making a bell unnecessary 😉

Making Suntour great again….well at least better 😉 cleaning out and lubricating the shift levers and sticking in stainless cables really improves the shifting 😉 #suntour #bikemechanic #vintagemtb #pullmanwashington #moscowidaho by @blbicycles

They sold it , yeah tolerances smolerances , then it eventually lands in the shop with issues , mostly stemming from not being precise frame hub spacing , the fix isn’t perfect but it’s an improvement 😏

Weekend build on a TerraTrike, customer is visiting from out of area, didn’t recognize the stock presta valves so I figured it might just be easier for all to drill them out to Schrader since these come out of the box as a frame and bunch of parts 😉

Classic mid 80s Cannondale road bike, mostly stock and geared completely inappropriately for Pullman , check out the half step on front rings 🤣
