We’re excited to announce that Chris Hampton, current coach of our 2033 Blue team, is stepping into an expanded role as BLC’s Director of Faceoff Development!

A @georgetownprep graduate and member of the @denvermlax’s 2015 NCAA Division I National Championship team, Chris brings an impressive playing and coaching experience to BLC. Following his collegiate career, he returned to Georgetown Prep as a coach from 2017–2025.

In this role, Chris will work with our faceoff specialists and wing players across the program, focusing on technique, positioning, communication, and developing the entire faceoff unit through team practices and specialized clinics.

Chris joins Bobby Horsey (Player Development) and Jake Adams (Goalie Development) as we continue to expand specialized training opportunities for our athletes.

Our Club program goes beyond practices and game days. Throughout the season, BLC players have additional clinics designed to sharpen skills, get more reps, and continue developing their game.

BLC is excited to welcome Bobby Horsey as our new Director of Player Development for the Boys Club.

A two-time USA Lacrosse All-American, four-year starter and captain at Loyola University, and former professional player in both the NLL and MLL, Bobby brings an incredible depth of playing, coaching, and player-development experience to BLC.

In this new role, Bobby will help lead a unified approach to player development across BLC, working directly with our players and coaches at practices and skills sessions to establish consistent teaching, age-appropriate skill development, and a clear pathway as players progress through our program and into DC Express.

We’re excited to have Bobby take on this expanded role and continue investing in the development of our players and coaches. by @blc_lacrosse

We are incredibly proud of these athletes and their recent fundraising efforts. On Saturday, they hosted a successful lacrosse clinic 🥍 for 65 young players, raising $2,900 to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Thank you to everyone who supported!
