Back again w/ @zackfox 💫 @justnanoos

Wow. Still coming down from the adrenaline of this past weekend. What an electrifying night. Thank you so much Zack for running it back with Nanoos and I after last year’s incredible Lollapalooza after show. We’ve been so excited these past few months but could have never imagined the energy in the room of a 4,000 person sold party. You’ve shown us so much love over the past couple of years and I’m so grateful to call you a friend, mentor, and brother. I’m so thankful to have shared this experience with Nancy. I admire and look up to you so much as a friend and peer. You’ve pushed to me excel in so many ways as an artist and human. Thank you both for an opportunity of a lifetime. You both deserve the world.

Thank you Chicago. To everyone who purchased a ticket. Waited in line. Danced. Hollered. Juked. Shared with us how much that night meant to you. To all my friends and loved ones that helped organize such a grounding pre hang and have been with me since day one. To my family that has shown me such gracious unconditional love and support. To the team at @radiuschicago for being so hospitable. To @jamzborghini and @plawt for holding it down and making sure we were taken care of. To all the producers and musicians I had the joy of spinning your music. It’s all about the music at the end of the day and I couldn’t have this without your artistry. Love y’all down 🙏🏽

BLESS x CHKLTE x THURS 10/8

Fusion returns this Thursday, 9pm-2am for a special international edition. Really excited to welcome star DJ/Producer/Label Owner @chklte_ touching down to the Chi from Berlin/Ibiza. Known for his compelling, lush sets across the Balearic island and techno’s second Mecca - were in for a treat Chicago 🍫 Together we’ll fuse house, techno, and club music for another night of release.

Come to dance/make new friends, no cover, no tolerance for non consensual behavior.

As gifted on the decks as he is in the studio, CHKLTE approaches music with a delicateness that defies his towering stature. With vibrant, seductive blooms and deep, syrupy booms, his subtleties climb into the ear like tendrils. Jonathan began sneaking into South Texas
clubs at the age of 15 to DJ after countless hours digging through online archives. In 2012, he became a resident of Austin TX and quickly became a regular guest DJ across the United States. CHKLTE was a resident DJ behind the infamous Blacktone agency & party series that sparked out of Austin Texas, which regularly hosted artists in the likes of Dyed Soundroom, Nicolas Lutz, Francesco Del Garda, tINI, Raresh, Praslea, Lamache and Robin Ordell.
The move from Jonathan to CHKLTE spurned a series of releases on labels such as _NRV, OGE, We R The Aliens, Blackflag recordings, Personality Disorder, Vatos Locos, Solid Grooves Raw, Moonfruit. He has also launched 2 labels CHOKO for viny lonly & a digital format label ChokoDIGI, which you can find exclusively
on Bandcamp – including his personal edits & original work. Also launching his new label & party series THE CHKLTE FACTORY & Sweet Delights in 2024/2025.

CHKLTE is now based between Ibiza & the US and can often be found controlling the dance-floors of Fabric London, Hi Ibiza, DC-10 Ibiza, Sunwaves Festival in Romania, Epizode & UNUM festivals in Albania, SXM Festival, ADE in Amsterdam, Club der Visionaere taken in The Whistler by @blesstonio

Oh, you thought summer was over? It’s always summer in CHIAMI, silly! For one day, we’re crossing off everything we didn’t get to on our summer bucket list, including a lineup of Chicago’s HEAVIEST hitters…

classically trained, professionally blessed, and spiritually always dancing, @blesstonio brings us a dynamic punchy collection of sounds made for moving to.

certified Chicago superstar and professional party instigator @misstwinkusa is known supplying fierce club pressure and an irresistibly expressive fusion of techno and house.

@heyvirago is known for her sharp ear that can cut its way into any dance floor, bringing joy and movement to any crowd she graces.

king of groove @quad.e_e has built his sound on the juiciest syncopated rhythms combined with heavy hitting drums, a signature that results in pure euphoria every time

@masteredkey is guided by her architectural practice to bridge sonic structures that are made for dancing- expect speedy tempos, funky basslines, and booty shaking techno

Come out. Wear something you’ve never worn before. Invite a friend crush. Eat something tasty. Take blurry photos. Act a little #cray. Buy a trinket or two. When’s the last time you wore glitter? Get a bit sweaty and dance with the sunset while you can. Become a bit obsessive over a track you’ve never heard before. Oh, and support an incredible cause.

Entry is free.99, but suggested donation is $10 - all profits directly benefit ICIRR (Illinois Coalition of Immigrant and Refugee Rights) and… first 50 donations get a very Chiami surprise <3

See you in CHIAMI ;) by @blesstonio

BLESS 💠 HAMEEDULLAH

Fusion returns tomorrow night at the @whistlerchicago for a special b2b. Revered selector and brilliant mixer @__hameedullah joins me in the booth. Together, we’ll fuse the souls of house and techno with the musicalities of disco and boogie for a night of taste and elation. Come to dance early, no cover, sweat late. No tolerance for discrimination or non consensual behavior.

Hailing from Chicago, educator, beatmaker, and DJ, Hameedullah takes and blends from his disciplines to create music and curate experiences that are uniquely one of one. Under his label Lunt and Oglesby, the artist’s passion for vinyl, DJ’ing, and electronic music is platformed and championed through his self-released projects, inventive programming, and YouTube content. taken in The Whistler by @blesstonio

Happy TR-909 Day 🎛️

Last year, I had the honor of owning a piece of electronic music history: the legendary Roland TR-909. The quintessential hardware sound of Techno and House music. Used by greats like @jeff_mills_official , Frankie Knuckles, and @daftpunk , it’s led to the creation of many electronic music hits from 1986 to today. Only ~10,000 units were released.

After a long and determined search through the internet, I found one for a great deal on @reverb. I recorded this unboxing to capture the wonder I knew I’d experience seeing and feeling it for the first time. 🤯 I was blown away in awe! Excited to begin integrating this into my DJ sets 💫
