✨the essence of bleu-jean✨

“i am a living breathing artifact of my ancestors
prancing around my room while the music consumes me
it’s a glorious feeling, i’m uplifted
so i rise to meet those who came before me
as they would not allow me to sink or even get close to the brink of destruction
they’ve given the layout with clear instructions
so i move to gratify their wishes leaving no room for the interruption of doubt
no clouds have formed so no storm shall pass
but waves still clash against the shore, letting me know there’s always room for more or less of this and that
and there always gonna be white noise
riff raff and hullabaloo
but when you know how to move or in my
case groove
everything i do always seems to be in tune”

MEET BLEU-JEAN DREAM!🦋

OUR WONDERFUL HOST FOR LOVERS’ & FRIENDS’ SHOWCASE ❤️‍🔥

“Stylist, writer and creative director, bleu-jean, is our host for the third year in a row and she’s excited to set the tone for love and connection. She encourages everyone to wear their most seductive reds and enticing pinks to commemorate this special event. In her words, “Love in all forms is one of the most important aspects of life. Without it the sun doesn’t rise nor does the moon shine its brightest. Right now love is necessary to survive the times, so choose it”

A TRIBUTE IN PROGRESS (i couldn’t wait a lifetime)
i knew i needed to make this when i wouldn’t stop playing this song multiple times a day.
i knew i needed to make this to move through the grief stored inside me.
i knew i needed to make this to honor D’Angelo in the best way i knew how.
i knew it was time for me to come back to self even for just a moment and speak from the heart.
i knew in this this lifetime and those after that i would make art that heals and transcends time.
i KNOW that everything will be fine

celebrate with me through song, dance, poetry, fashion, or whatever you feel!

i love y’all!

“are things better left unsaid?
is that how it’ll all make sense?
i started questioning what’s happening in the present tense,
because the brick between the flow of our air made me feel hesitant!
i tried to lessen the damage by leaving the room,
but you know you were my heaven sent, my sentiment, the reason i felt limitless when everything around me felt limited
i knew it was pointless when i did it because
every minute we spent split hit colder than winter even when it was 106
so i ask you this, are things better left unsaid
or is that something we just made up in our head?”
