A former blinds shop on Hackney Road is now a natural wine bar that’s proving a big hit with locals. As a nod to its roots, they’ve kept the name Blinds (@blinds.ldn), and the two-floor space also doubles up as a bottle shop and events space.

The wine menu centres around low-intervention producers and bottles with character, and it’s a great selection to get Blind(s) drunk on. The food menu is designed to keep you drinking. But while it looks like a snack-fest, it’s actually dinner in disguise. Graze on crisps coated in grated Comté with aioli or tins of spicy mussels, before moving on to their epic selection of pies and giant croque monsieurs.

Downstairs, you can limber up for a Pilates class, catch one of their events or browse the local art, currently showing the work of our very own @ben_loti.

As we head towards our busiest season, we’re looking to welcome a new part-time FOH to the team at Blinds, starting in September.

We’re looking for someone who offers:
– Strong wine knowledge, with enthusiasm to share it – Friendly, generous customer hospitality – Excellent teamwork and efficiency during busy shifts – Cocktail and coffee skills as a bonus

Autumn and winter are our liveliest months, so you’ll be joining with plenty of time to settle in before the festive rush and you’ll be part of a small but highly supportive team, as well as a wonderful community of customers.

We offer staff discounts, regular trainings, vineyard visits, and ongoing learning opportunities, alongside, of course, plenty of wine and opportunities to grow with us.
