Mikaela Shiffrin just delivered one of the most dominant technical seasons EVER in 2025-26, proving once again why she’s the greatest alpine skier of all time. 🇺🇸🔥

❄️ 2025–26 Season Recap

🏆 Overall World Cup Champion – 6th career Overall Globe

💎 Slalom Crystal Globe – 9th career slalom title

🎯 Won 9 of 10 World Cup slalom races

📈 Consistent top results in GS helped secure the Overall title

👑 Clinched the Overall with 1,410 points after the World Cup Finals

Her slalom dominance was unreal, winning nearly every race she entered this season and locking up the discipline globe early.

At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Shiffrin captured slalom gold by a massive 1.50 second margin, one of the most dominant Olympic wins in recent decades.

🏔️ Career Resume = LEGEND STATUS

🏆 6 Overall Crystal Globes
💎 17 Total Crystal Globes across all disciplines
💎 9 Slalom Globes (most ever)
🥇 110 World Cup Wins (ALL-TIME RECORD)
🥉 168 World Cup Podiums (record)
🥇 3 Olympic Gold Medals
🏅 4 Olympic medals total

She also tied the women’s record of 6 Overall titles, matching Austrian legend Annemarie Moser-Pröll.

📸: With that, the 2025–26 winter season is officially in the books! It was a busy and rewarding few months—airports, hotels, and countless miles on the car in Canada and the Northeastern US, chasing the world’s best athletes on snow.

A huge thank you to Matan Coll for the call to Copper back in November! After Copper, it was off to Mont-Tremblant with the women’s alpine tour in December before shifting gears to cover the FIS Freestyle Aerials & Moguls North American Tour ahead of the Olympics.

Along the way, I had the pleasure of working with some fantastic people:

FIS Alpine: Giacomo, Viviane, Charlotte
FIS Freestyle: Matt
Action Press: Uli, Mark

Thanks to everyone for an incredible winter! Enjoy the summer, and I hope to see you all on the 2026–27 tour. by @blockislandsteve

Since 1965, Block Island Race Week has been one of the most iconic offshore sailing regattas in the U.S. Hosted every other year by the Storm Trysail Club, it was inspired by England’s legendary Cowes Week — and it’s been a summer tradition for more than 60 years.

📍 Where: Off Block Island in Block Island Sound — with race headquarters in Great Salt Pond.

⛵️ The Fleet: Typically 150–200 boats ranging from 30 to 70+ feet — from high-performance ORC & PHRF racer-cruisers to one-design classes like J/105s and J/109s. Serious programs, Corinthian teams, pros and passionate amateurs all lining up on the same starting line.

🏁 The Racing: Five days of buoy racing, distance races, and the legendary “Round the Island” race — where colorful spinnakers wrap the shoreline in a full-circle showdown.

🔥 The Energy: Big breeze, big competition, and big post-race parties. Intense on the water. Electric on shore. A perfect mix of championship-level sailing and classic New England summer vibes. taken in Block Island, Rhode Island by @blockislandsteve

My sixth Big Boat Series over the past 12 years, working with Daniel Forster and Rolex. Our biennial trip to St. Francis Yacht Club is always one of my favorites. San Francisco Bay is truly unique and such a special place to work!

Another surgery. Another nine months of rehab.

Nearly seven months after her devastating Olympic downhill crash, Lindsey Vonn is walking, training and even playing tennis. But her recovery is far from over.

Vonn says she hopes to undergo ACL reconstruction in November, followed by approximately nine more months of rehabilitation. 🎿💪

After multiple surgeries, months in a wheelchair and a long road back to walking independently, what comes next for one of ski racing’s greatest athletes?

🎾🇨🇭 Roger Federer — Hall of Famer

Last night, Roger Federer officially became a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, joining broadcaster and former player Mary Carillo as the Class of 2026 was enshrined on the historic grass courts in Newport, Rhode Island.

And it was an emotional one.
Introduced by his wife, Mirka, Federer fought back tears throughout a nearly 30-minute speech — especially when reflecting on his childhood hero Stefan Edberg, his longtime coach Severin Lüthi, and the role Mirka played throughout his extraordinary journey.

The numbers tell only part of the story:

🏆 20 Grand Slam singles titles
🎾 8 Wimbledon titles — the most ever by a man
🇫🇷 Career Grand Slam
🥇 103 ATP singles titles
👑 310 weeks ranked No. 1
🔥 237 consecutive weeks at No. 1
🇨🇭 One of the greatest ambassadors the sport has ever had

Federer became the 272nd Hall of Famer, and fittingly, he spoke about what it meant to walk through the Hall and immerse himself in the history of the sport.

“I’m thrilled to have made the journey here. It’s amazing to see yourself in a place like this. To immerse yourself in the history of the sport means a lot to me.”

And perhaps the most touching moment came when he tried to thank Mirka.

“Now the Mirka part…”

Then the tears came.

From a young Swiss kid dreaming of Wimbledon to a 20-time Grand Slam champion and now a Hall of Famer — what a journey.

Congratulations, Roger. Welcome to the Hall. 🏆🇨🇭

From the slopes to the grass courts 🎾⛷️

Lindsey Vonn is in Newport, Rhode Island, for the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s 2026 Induction Celebration, where Roger Federer and Mary Carillo will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend.

Vonn is set to make a special appearance at the Hall of Fame Celebrity Pro Classic, kicking off the event from the umpire chair as Federer takes to Newport’s iconic grass courts alongside some of the biggest names in tennis.

A pretty fun crossover between two sporting worlds 👏
