If I were planning your content this week, here’s exactly what I’d post. 👇📆 Monday: Hop on a trend, but make it your own.Use the “I didn’t have a pen and paper” audio from Beyonce, and tell a story about a time you did something bold, random, or a little audacious that ended up paying off. People remember stories.📆 Tuesday: Teach something helpful.Share a tip that feels like kindergarten knowledge to you, but could be brand new to someone else. Don’t think “something they can Google.” Think about a question a friend or client asked you recently. That’s the kind of content people save and follow for.📆 Wednesday: Keep it simple with a B-roll reel and a hook that stops the scroll.Try something like:• Girl to girl (bold statement)• If I were (your ideal client), here’s what I’d do (solve a problem)• ISO of all the (your target audience) who are struggling with (your target audience’s pain point)• Here’s your sign to (what do they need that you can help with?)• I think we just became best friends if (solve a problem and relate)• Can we talk about (something slightly unhinged that will stop the scroll)• POV reelA good hook should make your ideal client stop and think, “Wait... are they talking to me?”📆 Thursday: Tell people what you’re selling, what problem it solves, who it’s for, how they can work with you, don’t make them guess.📆 Friday: Make people laugh.If you can make someone smile, they’re much more likely to remember you, share your content, and come back for more.👋 Hi! “Should you post your kids on social media?”It’s a question I get asked a lot, and my answer is always the same: Do what feels right for your family.I choose to share my boys because they’re a huge part of my life, but I also have a few personal rules I try to follow:• Share what you’re comfortable sharing- don’t let social media pressure you either way.• Don’t post in real time. I almost always wait until we’ve left.• Avoid sharing places your kids can regularly be found, like their school, sports schedules, or weekly activities.• If other children are in a photo or video, always ask their parents before posting.• If your family is recognized in public because of social media, it may be worth being even more intentional about what you share.• As your kids get older, ask if they’re okay with being posted. They deserve a say, too.• Take a minute to look at the background before posting. Addresses, license plates, school logos, and other personal details can easily sneak into a photo.At the end of the day, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer.
