When tears of gratitude turn into grace 🤍

About two years ago, I had a vivid dream:
I was walking across a narrow bridge in the clouds and came upon a small white chapel on a high mountain. When I opened the door, I saw radiant golden icons and felt warmth, peace, and a holy Presence. I stood there “alone,” yet I knew I wasn’t alone. I didn’t fully understand, but something in my heart whispered: Orthodoxy. ✨

At that time I was just returning to my faith — reading Scripture, questioning everything, and being very cautious with tradition. I didn’t want to follow emotions; I wanted to truly understand the Church. Months later, the Lord led me to a monastery in Florence, Arizona, where I felt that same warmth from my dream… but I still wasn’t ready. So I kept learning, praying, wrestling, and searching.

Another year passed. More Scripture. More prayer. More grace.

And this September, during my 3-day stay at the monastery, I stepped into a chapel that looked exactly like the one in my dream. White walls. Golden icons. Stillness.
The presence of the Saints. The peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. 💛

In the Orthodox tradition, chapels dedicated to Saint Elijah (Prophet Elias) are often built on mountaintops — because he encountered God not in the wind or the fire, but in the still, small voice on the mountain (1 Kings 19). 🕊️⛰️

I stood there in that same stillness and peace, realizing I was walking in a vision God had planted in my heart long before I could ever understood it.

These are the mornings I live for - sunrise coffee in the mountains just tastes better, and a cold river dip that renews my soul. 🌲☕💦

and everywhere I go is where I’m meant to be.

I keep returning to this place in my heart… these white dunes felt like holy ground. Dancing here felt prophetic - wild, free, alive in His Spirit. 🤍

It’s a sacred thing to be this free. Heavenly freedom no one can take from you, no matter where you are. His freedom without borders.

Who the Son sets free is free indeed. I’m a child of God. Yes, I am.

Praying you remember your freedom today. May you run wild in His love and know you are truly free. Amen.

Your call to make… is to believe. What you believe shapes your thoughts, character, choices - and the fruit of your life.

I spent years searching for the meaning of true love. Looked in many places… except the One who was with me all along.

Recently, I had a raw and honest conversation with a friend. She told me I sounded like I believed my truth was The Truth. At first, I felt heat rise in my chest - that old trigger: “How dare I sound that confident?” But I leaned in.

I don’t claim to know everything. But I do believe in the One who does. And I’m not ashamed of that.

In the past, I would’ve softened my words. Shrunk myself. Made the truth I carry more “comfortable.” I used to fear others’ opinions - and it kept me from truly living, from letting my light shine.

This moment was a big practice: standing in my core value - faith. Holding steady without apology. Honoring what I know in my spirit.

And something beautiful happened. Her heart softened. She realized her discomfort wasn’t about my confidence - it was her own hesitation to fully believe, especially in the truth of God’s Word.

People will be challenged by your beliefs. That’s okay. Not because you’re here to argue - but because conviction exposes what’s shaky in others.

I used to avoid commitment to any belief. I believed a little of everything - and it left me empty.

But the moment I gave my heart to the One who said, “You are Mine. I love you. I’ve been waiting…” -everything changed.

Faith didn’t make me rigid. It made me soft. Brave. Free.

“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” —Prov 29:25
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” —Prov 9:10
“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” —2 Cor 10:17

So I ask you with love: What kind of love are you building your life on today? 💛

Light, free, and led by something greater.
No longer chasing… just becoming.

not to prove,

for the gift of life,

for the souls I get to call my family…

Thank You for the boldness
to begin again,
to trust again,
to hope again.

And with a heart full of gratitude,
I wait in wonder -
for all that’s still unfolding,
for the blessings yet to come,
for the story of me still being written
by the Author and Finisher of my faith.
