🚨Slightly long post alert🚨

Grateful is how I feel as I reflect on my health and wellness journey with @e2mfitness in 2022. 💪🏽🔥 The song in my transformation video below stays on repeat.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. E2M has been a tremendous blessing to my life. The coaches are phenomenal! I am encouraged and supported on a daily basis in my fitness community by people who genuinely love me and want to see me succeed, many I’ve never met in person🥰

I hit my goal weight of 155lbs in February of 2022 and lost a few more pounds (not intending to do so). I’ve maintained my 58lb weight loss for 10 months, fluctuating between 144 - 148lbs. My doctors call me a model patient. It’s amazing how the discussions regarding my health with my physicians has change from when I started this journey 18 months ago🙌🏾🙌🏾

I’m grateful for these major health wins:

✅ FINALLY hit and maintained my healthy BMI
✅ No longer pre-diabetic
✅ Blood pressure perfect
✅ Cholesterol perfect
✅ CPAP machine order canceled
✅ Nucala prescription for asthma canceled
✅ Heart surgery, still not needed at this time

Lana’s face LIT UP when she saw family members show up to her game tonight! 🥹💜🧡🏐 There’s nothing like seeing the people you love show up to support you!

A special shoutout to her grandparents (my in-loves) and our cousins (Adam and Aeson) for making the trip all the way down here to watch her play. It means more than you know, and we are so grateful for each of you! ❤️🙌🏽

The baby of the bunch passed her driver’s test this morning! 🥳🎉🚗

Congratulations, my Lana Bana! ❤️

The heavy rain had my nerves on 1000, but SHE DID IT!!! 🙌🏼

A special shout out to Mr. Washington from Best Driving Academy, who came out to watch her take the test. He is an amazing teacher and a genuinely good man! The West family appreciates him and all of the wisdom, encouragement, and sound advice he gave Lana.

Happy 28th anniversary my love, James. 30 years together and 28 married. Wow, that’s pretty dope!!

We’ve built an amazing life together. We’ve experienced many highs and lows throughout our years together. I’m grateful that our faith in God and great counsel from our elders sustained us during those tough times when we wanted to call it quits. Our marriage is a living testimony of Matthew 19:26 - “With man this is impossible, but with Christ all things are possible”❤️

This picture deserves its own post. My baby got ups!

When I saw this pic, one word immediately came to my mind, growth! That’s what this club season was for Lana and me. She has grown so much not only as a player but as a young woman.

My specific prayer this club season was that God would place my daughter on a team where she was valued as a player and properly trained by coaches who truly cared about her growth and development as a player. God answered my prayer and gave us more than what I asked. The team became a sisterhood and the parents became our family. We’re not coming home with a medal this time, but we are returning with something much bigger than that. Full hearts bursting with joy and happiness for what has been the best club season to date for us 🏐💙🩵💚🏐

I had the incredible honor of being invited by my sister-in-love Dr. Dana D. Coleman to co-author a powerful book about motherhood, written by mothers. Being able to share a part of my own motherhood journey, while also reading the beautiful, raw, and inspiring stories from the other phenomenal women involved in this project has truly been such a blessing.
