Meet your Match by @morriganmercywrites 🎆

I wanted to bind this story again for a while and this time I went full fireworks theme.
Also found the perfect vinyl for this story and yes it changes color depending on the light (how fancy I know).

Soft as it Began by rubber_soul02 🍓

New version of this fic because I’m forever obsessed and I think it might be my favorite bind so far!
I love how the vinyl pattern is continuous on all the cover.
To achieve this I had to glue the three bookcloth pieces on silk paper to make one single bookcloth piece, apply the vinyl and then glue everything on the cover like a classic bookcloth.
It was a messy process but I love the result.

Made for one of my best friend because she NEEDS to read this story 🙂‍↕️

In March i went to see my friend @mrsyoflam so she could teach her magic to me and @anna.admires and because it was a running joke i couldn’t resist gifting her a bible of Measure of a Man.
She once told me she reads every single bind she is gifted and now she doesn’t have any choice but to finally dive down the MOAM world 😌

Isolation by bexchan ❄️

This design is so simple yet so lovely isn’t it?
Did I nearly lose my mind weeding it? Absolutely yes.
Do I want to do it again? Absolutely no.
Was it worth it? I’ll let you judge 😌

Made for our Paris trip with @mrsyoflam @laquarelledelucile and @mathougomez (we miss you @thehoneybunlibrary , @booksedges where are you?).
Now if you are looking for us we are probably eating croissants somewhere near the Eiffel Tower or visiting bookstores and living our French tourist time in the capital 🥐

Bone Deep by @ginger_baggins_posts 🍳

Two posts in less than a week? Who am I?

I read Bone Deep in two days last August and I ADORED it. I needed to bind it as soon as possible and it took me less than two months so it’s a successful mission on my end.
I haven’t bound something for myself in months and I’m so happy to keep this little guy.

Please go all read this adorable fic I promise it’s short and sweet and heartwarming and you will want to eat eggs after.

Breath Mint / Battle Scars by Onyx&elm 💜

First, before anything please give a standing ovation to @mrsyoflam because she took the best pictures of this bind for me (yes i bound it last minute and i didn’t have the time to take pictures myself)

Anyway it was my contribution to the White elephant for the European Milan meetup!
We really had the best time with all the girls and I can’t wait to see you all again next year!!

Also I couldn’t resist when I saw this cloth, it screams BMBS and I love the result, Betty can now pet him everyday 🫶🏻
Fun fact: I used Betty’s typeset for this bind so it feels like it is really coming to his real home.

Wait and Hope / Beginning and End by mightbewrigting 🛋️

I’m back in my fancy cloth era guys!
Aren’t those cloth wonderful? I’m in love and they shine so bright!

I made this set for one of my friend birthday. She has never read fanfiction yet and I thought this was the perfect starter for her to get down in the rabbit hole with us.

I can’t wait to gift them to her next week and being her shadow until she read them.

The Right Thing to Do / All the Wrong Things

Sometimes you have an idea stuck in your brain and you won’t let it go until it’s done.
Guys, I had the idea for this set for more than a year but I needed to wait for someone to ask me this set or the good opportunity to bind it as a surprise gift.

The latter happened with my dear @thebinderwholived

I made a three pieces bradel using faux leather velvet for the spines and laminated front and back covers. And now i’m obsessed with those two materials on the same book.

The cover designs are from the official Harry Potter constellation notebooks and aren’t they perfect here?

An Ever-Fixed Mark by ninepiecesofcrait 🌿

This fic is one of my 2024 best read and I wanted to bind it for a long time.

When @thebinderwholived asked me what we should trade with each other I knew I wanted to bind it for her.

I wanted to challenge myself with this bind so I learnt how to make a see through window on the cover and gosh I love the result.
I drew the window myself in procreate using one of the Strasbourg cathedral window as a reference to make it even more personal (yes I love my city).

The window frame represent the Matagot windows Hermione is so fond of and the jungle is my vision of her occlumency walls.

I adore this bind, it was so hard to give it away but i’m very glad it’s now in Katherine hands 🫶🏻

I was sooooo excited when Katherine @thebinderwholived sent me a DM about this exchange last year, I HAD TO be part of it.

I chose Soft as it Began because it’s my favorite fic and it was answering all the favorites tropes of @aurelian_library 🫶🏻

I teached myself how to use procreate and drew every single thing myself from the cover, to the title page and the little balloons and jam jar (I am a bit proud 🥹).

Later on we found out that we got the exact same idea for the exact same fic with Gioia @lyrabindery , binders all share a brain it seems 😌

Oh and I also learnt how to make stickers! Aren’t they cute?
