Oh gosh I Have been in an artists' block...whew, but just coming out of it, not because of perfectionism, I just lost my creative energy and mojo for a minute. But yoo-hoo it is back and for all of you who came in this summer and asked could I do some not inside a frame. Not on a frame but just on the canvas so you could take it home? Fly it home. Travel with it. Easier. I'm Doing it. Got a bunch of primed canvas. I'll be working big and I'll be working smalls so when you come in here you can flip through the pages of canvas and find something to take home easily. So what put me back in the groove? I don't know. Just maybe changing the way I was painting. Maybe mixing up my mediums. I just don't know ...it happens to all artists.
I can also promise I cannot wait to get my encaustic supplies back out and work with them, You guys know they're my true love to work with. But it's just still too hot I promise I'll have those back up and on walls as soon as we get a little cool down. Have a safe and fun holiday weekend and remember if I'm not open you can always message. If I'm around And not busy painting. I'll let you in.
