🍷🌙 The dreamiest of all evenings! Thank to @carolyncoving and the team at @bylinetravel for planning the loveliest wine pairing dinner filled with delicious food, amazing wine, and great company.

✨🍂 @merriemillfarmandvineyard hosted the group at a family-style table alongside the vines and under strings of lights. The day stayed wonderfully warm until the sun went down, then the cool autumn air rolled in and the stars came out.

🍽️ Every course came thoughtfully paired with a Merrie Mill wine. Chef Brad and his team at @cateringredbud sent out a beet ravioli with herb chèvre and crushed pistachio that I’m still thinking about, then rack of lamb, a wild mushroom risotto and a vanilla bean crème brûlée. The Cabernet Sauvignon was my favorite pour of the night.

⭐️ Local tip: Saturday wine tours fill up fast, especially in fall, so book early if you want a driver and a full itinerary. We’re also happy to build in a private chef dinner at the house, a Pilates or yoga session, in-home massage, IV drips, and grocery delivery so the fridge is stocked before you arrive. We’re not the hosts, just the local experts here to make the weekend feel effortless.

Finn Meadows sits in Roseland, Virginia, at the end of curvy mountain roads that feel like their own kind of adventure. Just past the southern stretch of the Rt. 151 Craft Beverage Trail, the drive alone puts you in a different headspace before you even arrive. Life slows down the higher into the mountains you climb.

📣 Charlottesville just got a stunning new place to stay and dine 📣

Birdwood Mansion at Boar’s Head Resort is officially open as a luxury boutique hotel and restaurant on nearly 12 historic acres just west of the city. (And stay tuned to the end of this reel for a look at the wedding setup on the grounds — it’s absolutely breathtaking.)
