Late Summer and early Fall are a great time of year to experience a temperature inversion in Virginia’s Blue Ridge. I love breaking through the clouds in the higher elevations to find a blanket covering the valley. Incredible scenery!

🐝 Some of the sweetest honey in Virginia comes from Nelson County, but Honey Daze has never really been just about honey.

3. @unlockedhistory is so much fun. Perfect for a group date or their two escape rooms, “The Raven” and “The British Are Coming” can be done with two people!

4. @thealleylight and @lostsaintbar are staples. Did you know @ten.sushi’s bar is open past 10PM on Fridays and Saturdays??

5. The @UVA Pavilion Gardens are full of edible food and open to the public! Picking RIPE fruit is encouraged!

6. FREE tickets for public night at the Observatory are released on the first business day of the previous month (yes, August is already sold out). Be sure to put it in the cal!

7. First Fridays at @McGuffeyArtCenter are a great opportunity to browse studios, explore galleries, and meet artists! Upcoming dates: Aug 7th, Sept 4th, Oct 2nd, Nov 6th.
