Most people train strength in the middle range of motion.

Because that’s where they’re comfortable.

But real life doesn’t happen in the middle.

It happens at the end range — where most people are weakest.

Tying your shoes. Getting off a low chair. Pushing yourself off the floor.

That’s where pliability matters.

Train your muscles to be strong through their full range of motion. That’s how you build tolerance.

If you’re always feeling tight, in pain or you’re always getting hurt doing the most basic things like bending down to tie your shoes.

The answer isn’t more stretching.

It isn’t more rest.

And it’s not just picking up heavier weight.

It’s training your body to move through its fullest range of motion — with strength and control.

Strong at the beginning. Strong at the end. Strong everywhere in between.

That’s how you build a body that can meet life wherever it shows up.

And if you need help figuring out where to start comment PLAYBOOK and I’ll send you my longevity playbook. It shows you exactly where your strength and mobility need the most work. 💪🏻 by @bodybynoelle

Literal DREAM COME TRUE pinch me moment is what this article is!
.
For context this was my FIRST time doing cold outreach pitching my story idea to a writer who had no previous affiliation with me. Literally just sent her an email.
.
Fast forward a couple weeks after some back and forth emails, I was on a call with a writer from London!! The call lasted 45 minutes.
.
I had been eagerly anticipating the launch date of this article for several more weeks until yesterday when it was PUBLISHED! And now it's out in the world. Ekkk
.
I'm thrilled to share this because training for longevity is something everyone should take seriously. It directly impacts our health, how well we age, and the number of quality years we have—more than we might realize. The best way to reduce your risk of all-cause mortality is by prioritizing how you care for your body, and you can learn exactly what that should look like in this article.
.
Here’s to more of this and setting our dreams on fire because if you can dream it you can be it!! 👏🏻👏🏻

This goes down as top 5 questions or concerns I hear from clients.

Here’s the truth - muscle doesn’t just show up because you picked up a weight twice. It takes months of consistent, intentional training to see real change. We’re talking 5 lbs in a year if you’re really putting in the work.

But here’s what that muscle does that nobody talks about: it protects you. 1 in 2 women will experience osteoporosis in their lifetime. Strength training is one of the most powerful things you can do to fight it.

Stop being afraid of the muscle. Start being afraid of not building it.

💪 share this for the woman in your life who needs to hear this! If that woman is you, welcome! The algorithm brought you to my page maybe for this reason. by @bodybynoelle

I'm okay with being an "older" mom. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about what that means as my kids grow up.

I'll be 70 when my youngest is 30. And all I keep thinking about is - I want to be there. Really there. Not watching from the sidelines because my body can’t keep up.

I want to get on the floor with my grandbabies. I want to dance at my kids' weddings. I want to be the mom they call - not the one they worry about.

That's why I train. Not just for how I look. For how long I get to show up.

Any older moms here (had a baby after 35) Id love to know you 👇🏼 by @bodybynoelle

Getting older doesn’t mean breaking down. It means you have to be more intentional about how you train.

Strength. Mobility. Stability. Power. These are the four aspects of training I prioritize at 40 — because this is when it matters most.

Ageism is just a story we’ve been told. You get to choose what aging looks like for you.

If you’re wondering where to start I created a free guide to help you see where your body is breaking down. Comment ‘body check’ and I’ll send it to you. by @bodybynoelle

How you show up in the gym is just as important as showing up.

Paying attention to form is prioritize as you lift if you want to make meaningful gains. It’s not enough just to pick up weights. You have to learn how to move with intention.

Strength training I would argue is one of the most important aspects of your training because it equips your body with the ability to handle real life physical demands. When you’re more confident and capable on your feet you move differently. You can handle more.

And aesthetics is great (I like looking good too), but our priorities need to shift as we age to be thinking more about what is going to matter to me most in 30 or 40 years? It’s not just how lean you are, it’s what you can physically still do.

It’s going to be a much bigger inconvenience if you can’t walk on your own unassisted, get up from the toilet, and keep up with your kids.

If that’s the body we want. That’s the body we need to train for.

Don’t wait until your body starts breaking down to start paying attention. by @bodybynoelle

This mobility challenge from @wondwellness humbled me 😂 but this is where strength and mobility really come together!

If you’re under 40 no excuses.

If you’re in your 40s and can do this you’re making us all proud.

If you’re over 50 and can do this I want to be like you when I grow up 💪🏼

Drop your age in the comments and tell me if you can do it. 👇🏼 by @bodybynoelle

If your hinge looks like this your lower back is paying for it.

Most people never learn how to hinge properly. So their lower back takes over on every deadlift, every pickup, every time they bend down to grab something off the floor.

Here are 5 exercises I use with my clients to fix it starting from the ground up.

If you struggle with any of these, comment ‘body check’ and I’ll send you my free guide to help you find where else your body is compensating. 👇🏼 by @bodybynoelle

Most people jump straight to strength training without mastering mobility first.

So before you pick up a weight can you do all 4 of these lunge variations without your form breaking down?

A lunge doesn’t have to be boring. Four variations. Same movement, different demands. And this simple test will tell you a lot about your hip, ankle, and back mobility and stability.

This is where everyone needs to start. Nothing fancy. Just mastering the basics before you add load.

If you struggle with any of these, that’s your sign. Comment BODY CHECK and I’ll send you my free guide to help you find where your body needs work. 👇 by @bodybynoelle

We put so much into how we look — the gym, the diet, the supplements.

But nobody talks about how you move. And honestly? That’s the thing that’s going to matter most as you get older.

Every rep with bad form is your body quietly compensating. You don’t feel it now….but you will.

Train like the next 20 years depend on it. Because they kind of do.

Train your core the way you move. Here’s 6 functional kettlebell moves you should be doing.

Functional training helps you show up better for real life and it helps you identify your weak links and the core is a common one.
