The body dysmorphia hits hard… you would think after significant weight loss that the love for your body would grow. I find that I critique myself harder than ever, to the point where Zach kind of jokes about removing all the mirrors from the house. I’ve taken my time, it’s been 3.5 years to lose it (down 108 lbs), I’ve drastically healed my relationship with food and alcohol, the gym + fitness is a major part of my life and I enjoy the pursuit of physically pushing myself wether it be challenges or new obstacles. So now I guess healing my relationship with how I view and speak to my body is on deck. It doesn’t mean I can’t keep continuing to better it but I do need to learn to love it.
