✨Cheers to 22 years as a bodyworker! ✨

When I pause and reflect on how far I’ve come, I feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude. Pride in my journey and deep pride in my lineage. Who would have imagined that a Vietnam War refugee, raised in LA’s Chinatown, would one day grow up to live a life rooted in purpose, freedom, and passion?

After earning my bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona, I began my career as an elementary school teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Teaching was meaningful work, and I gave it my all. But after four years, I came to an honest realization, it wasn’t where I was meant to stay. I felt a quiet but persistent pull toward something different, something that allowed me to create my own path.

At the time, I didn’t have a clear roadmap, but I did know what I wanted my life to feel like. I had three non-negotiables: I wanted to work for myself, help people feel better in their bodies, and have the freedom to travel. Those values became my compass.

That search eventually led me to massage school, a leap of faith that changed everything. What started as a career shift became a calling. Through bodywork, I found a way to connect, to heal, and to serve others while honoring my independence and curiosity about the world.

I carry the resilience of my family with me in everything I build. Their sacrifices laid the foundation. My responsibility was to build boldly on top of it. Twenty-two years later, I’m still grateful I trusted that inner voice.

If there’s one takeaway from my story, it’s this: always bet on yourself. And if the first attempt doesn’t work out, don’t see it as failure. See it as preparation. Regroup, recommit, and double down. Sometimes the life you’re meant to live is waiting just on the other side of courage.

It was an absolute honor and pleasure being amongst these men for the past month. The toughest strength and conditioning sessions with Coach Cal, which these MMA beasts crushed with true grit and mental fortitude. Road to Undisputed.

I am honored to work with IBF Super Middleweight Champion @calebplant We’ve been putting in work since April, to increase flexibility and range of motion. Caleb’s work ethic is second to none, and in my opinion what sets him apart is his mental fortitude. Never cuts corners, does everything by the book, making proper adjustments and drilling it until it becomes second nature. He’s a beast!

I love this team. Everyone’s role is imperative, not one more important than the other. We work collectively to ensure our Champ is provided the best of everything. I’m super stoked for the next 8 weeks. Let’s go!

What a special weekend celebrating Gennadiy Gennadyevich Golovkin as he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame on June 14, 2026.

Throughout the weekend, fellow inductees, boxing legends, and longtime colleagues shared stories that highlighted one consistent theme: Gennadiy’s unwavering kindness and respect for fans. Again and again, people spoke about how he always made time for photos, autographs, and conversations, regardless of how busy he was. The same humility, class, and authenticity that made him a champion in the ring earned him admiration far beyond it.

It was an honor to be there and a small part of Team GGG. Witnessing this historic moment firsthand is something James and I will always cherish and one of the highlights of our careers.

Congratulations, Gennadiy. A true champion, an ambassador for the sport, and now forever a Hall of Famer.
