We are on a trajectory unimaginable at the moment.

Why? Because we found our tribe. We found a group of likeminded Empresarios who are on a mission to create something bigger, to change the trajectory of their family for generations to come.

No jealousy, no hatred, only people there to support and help you improve in all aspects of life and business.

If it isn’t clear, it’s working. Much love to my Empresarios Family, we are going to continue grinding and staying laser focused on creating a legacy.

Big plans start with small steps!

As we prepare for our new office, part of the agreement requires us to build a wall separating the two spaces since we weren’t able to purchase both sides.

It’s an extra step in the renovation, but we already have bigger plans in mind. Eventually, the goal is to purchase the other side and expand even further.

For now, we’re making the most of what we have and building toward the future! 💪

🏗️ $25,000 for sidewalk work alone?!

When building an ADU or starting a new construction project, there are additional costs homeowners should be aware of.
One of those is Right-of-Way (ROW) work, which involves improvements to public areas such as sidewalks, curbs, and streets.

Depending on city requirements, this work may require additional permits, specialized contractors, traffic control and inspections.#
On this project, a small section of sidewalk work costs approximately $25,000, completely separate from the actual building cost.

💡 Not every project requires ROW work, but understanding these requirements early can help prevent unexpected expenses.

Sometimes, even during a full home remodel, unexpected issues come up. 🏠🔨

At our Del Mar project, we discovered an existing balcony leak that wasn’t caused by our work. Now we’re opening up more of the ceiling to investigate the damage while making sure the surrounding areas get a clean Level 5 drywall finish.

It’s all about addressing the issues properly and making sure every detail looks right. 💪

I’m a builder, not a content creator. 😂

But at the end of the day, we put out content because we want you to see what we actually do, how we do it, and the quality of work we deliver.

The goal isn’t just to make videos. It’s to build trust, showcase our projects, and hopefully help you with your next ADU.

If you’re thinking about building an ADU, reach out. Let’s make it happen! 🏡🔨

Did you know how drop ceilings work?

A drop ceiling is a secondary ceiling installed below the original structure using a suspended metal grid supported by wires anchored above.

This system helps conceal electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC ducts, and other utilities while creating a clean, finished appearance.

One of its biggest advantages? Ceiling panels can be easily removed for future maintenance and repairs without tearing into the ceiling.

Running a construction business comes with challenges you don’t always see.

After completing $23,000 worth of work, we ran into a situation where the tenant wasn’t able to cover the cost. Thankfully, we had everything properly documented and were able to communicate with the property manager to resolve the situation within 20 minutes.

Situations like these remind us how important it is to have the right paperwork, maintain good communication, and protect everyone involved.

Ever wonder how electricity gets from the street to your home? ⚡🏠

Underground electrical conduits protect the cables running from the utility connection to your house. When upgrading your electrical service, you may need a larger conduit to accommodate bigger cables.

Depending on the property, that connection could be near the curb or even in the middle of the street!
