As we close for our summer break I’d like to thank all parents and staff for the support of our school this academic year. We’ve been inundated with thank you cards and gifts and each and every one is truly appreciated. Your words of thanks mean so much to us all. We all love what we do, and hearing how the school gives your children a ‘safe space’ and ‘encourages and supports them’ is music to our ears 🎶. We hope you all have a restful summer and we look forward to welcoming you all back on the 8TH SEPT for our new school year. Invoices will be sent out a week prior to restarting 💙💛 by @bonds_academy

On the last day of our timetabled lessons before the summer, what a lovely thing this was to find in the post this morning!! Months and months of planning and preparation, and after a huge glitch when the syllabus unexpectedly, suddenly changed and we had to prepare an extra song, adding more months of practice and rehearsing, she pulled it out of the bag and got the highest grading band possible - Distinction!! Huge congratulations Ella, forever proud of you, and all our students, and the growth and personal development they show 🥹💙💛 by @bonds_academy

This is what I love most about our school, how every single student, no matter how young or old, looks after each other, whether it’s making new comers feel welcome, helping classmates learn steps they missed, or tying their shoelaces for them 💙💛 by @bonds_academy

7 years ago this week I made the leap and opened my own dance school. After years of working as a professional performer and then freelancing as a teacher endlessly for other people and their schools, I felt like it was my time, to truly do my own thing, and I can honestly say I’ve never looked back since 🥹 Thank you so much to every parent and student who has walked through my door and supported our amazing school 💙💛 At our recent summer presentation a parent said to me ‘what you’ve created here is something so special, your ethos of inclusivity is everything we believe in, this school is liquid gold to us’. We’re here for everyone, the students who want to shine as a dancer and be pushed, the students who just want to come once a week for fun, and the students who feel like they aren’t accepted anywhere else. We’re a pool of massively different personalities and in our dance home each one is loved and respected for being exactly who they are. Happy Birthday BONDS 🎉🥳🎂🎁🎈 by @bonds_academy
