@justacard indie week - day 2

Shopping independently is more important than ever. My mantra at the moment is - 'who do I want to be here when this is all over?'. If I don't keep supporting them, there is a good chance they will be gone.

Is there somewhere you've always meant to visit? Do it today, you won't regret it.

To me, shopping independently means that my purchase counts (I really know this, I appreciate every single sale). That person in turn will spend their money in the local community and so on.

I know I've done this so many times, but it's really important to support small businesses at the moment - please tag any independent businesses you love and want to be here post-covid. If you can't support them with a purchase, comment on a post, share on social media, leave a review - it all helps so, so much 💚

Talking of reviews, you can now leave a review for products on our website (www.wastenotshop.net, link in bio) 😉 if you've tried something, we'd love to know what you think. (Thanks to @hawkinzzz for his technical wizardry setting this up).

Thank you so much for all your support over the last 8 months.

It hasn't been easy but we are grateful that we have managed to stay open in some way throughout, and that were still here.

Our thoughts are with all the businesses that have had to close and have lost their income, some who have closed forever 😢

Please continue to support local, independent businesses if you can. Support the businesses that you would like to still be here when all this is over. Go spend a fiver, buy a voucher, share, like or comment on a post, leave a review, recommend them to a friend - it all means the world to a small business, and we see and appreciate every single purchase, comment, share!

I've tagged some of my favourite businesses, please tag yours below ☺️⤵️
