POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last week I officially graduated as an Aviation, Maintenance Technician (AMT) 👩🏾‍🎓🧰🦾 aka Aircraft Mechanic… I passed my last 2 FAA EXAMS with 💯 percent each!!! Powerplant Oral exam 100%, Powerplant Practical exam 100%!!! 🦾😆🧰 It was a total of 9 FAA exams i needed to pass to obtain my Airframe and Powerplant (A&P License)

I’ve sacrificed 2 years of my life! Often reminded it was an investment. Nonetheless, I did it! I studied my butt off! Long nights in class until 11:30pm after a full shift and demands at work.
Overcoming the obstacles and challenges I’ve faced in my personal family life. During those difficult moments, a few times I’ve broken down into tears from the heaviness I felt!
Many of my classmates dropped out! Others haven’t yet to pass their FAA exams. But I pushed through!
There was NO plan B! This was the plan! And I DID IT! 🦾🧰😆 I AM SOOOO HAPPY! I FEEL BLESSED! by @bone_artist

2014 my best friend @amiraj6 and I launched our first major #Art event here in New Jersey! Major milestone to our success. We had our first newspaper coverage and interview. I remember the day the article came out. I was soooo excited I purchased about 20 copies!! 😆😂😅

I’m excited for my rebirth! Tune in tomorrow Wednesday, March 24 9pm eastern time with @rc9interviews to hear my story! My reBirth Journey!

Just finished Atomic Habits by James Clear. 📖

My biggest takeaway: focus on getting 1% better each day and build systems that make better habits easier to maintain.

One of my personal goals is to read every day and become more disciplined about living a healthier lifestyle, mind, body, and soul. I don’t need to change everything overnight. I just need to be intentional about the small choices I make every day.

1% better. Every day. 📚🤓 by @bone_artist

Just finished reading Rap to Operate: Where Structure Meets the Surf by my colleague from LEAD and friend, Que Atiya Na’imah Rogers, and I had to take a moment to celebrate her. 💜📖

If you know Rogers, you know she has a way with words. Somehow, she always seems to have the right ones at the right time. The words that encourage you, uplift you, and remind you to look at the brighter side when you’re feeling down… or when you’re complaining about something you probably shouldn’t be complaining about 😂.

And that same spirit comes through in this book.

Rap to Operate is more than her story. It’s a story of resilience, growth, breaking generational cycles, finding your voice, and using your experiences, even the difficult ones, to create something better for yourself, your family, and your community.

One thing I really appreciated is how openly Rogers shares her journey. There’s strength in telling your story, but there’s even more power in telling it in a way that might help someone else see what’s possible for their own life.

Rogers, congratulations on putting your story into the world. I’m proud to know you, proud to call you a friend, and grateful for the encouragement you continue to pour into the people around you.

Y’all go support her and get a copy of Rap to Operate. And when you read it, don’t just read the words. Take in the lessons. 💜

My message is for anyone who is considering a change or been in deep reflection on their life choices. Sometimes we get step back to move forward. 🙏🏾💪🏿😅 I am sharing my story to inspire you that it’s never too late to start over. I was sick and tired of hustling multiple jobs, Ubering on weekends and still not earning enough.

My advice is to fully commit to whatever it is that you desire. You may not know how… how to balance your current job, while attending school or care for kids and family, but I’ll say fully commit to the goal!

Don’t allow the fears of others to discourage you!
If you are determined to start and more importantly to finish, all your needs will be met! I kept telling myself there is no plan B! This is the plan and I will follow through!

If you are considering a career in aviation, I’ve been working on an ebook with 16 steps to minimize anxiety and pass the FAA exam. Commit #fullycommitted for more information by @bone_artist
