Bonnie MacRae helps Refuge highlight that even dream homes can become a nightmare. @bonmacrae’s latest film ‘Home is Where the Hurt Is’, was made with @revolt.global for the domestic abuse charity @refugecharity. This estate agent tour with a twist raises awareness around the sad truth that statistically, the most dangerous place for a woman is her own home. Launched in the run up to International Women’s Day, the film was made with a 95% female crew, featuring actor @fizzyflea. Following IWD, the campaign will go directly to the Houses of Parliament and will ask members of the public to sign an open letter calling on Sir Keir Starmer to plug the funding shortfall in domestic abuse accommodation services (£55.5m per year). Bonnie MacRae gives Normal People a new soundtrack for Chloe Slater. Swipe right 👉 to go behind the scenes of ‘Harriet’. @bonmacrae‘s video pays loving tribute to some of Normal People’s most iconic setups, recreated with almost obsessive detail - from Connell’s bedroom rebuilt in Streatham to the exact supermarket dress worn by Marianne. @chloeslater333 says: “What started as a running joke about me looking like Daisy Edgar-Jones turned into a full-scale recreation of my favourite scenes. We were laughing on set when the shots matched perfectly. I’ve never eaten so many ice lollies in my life!” Bonnie adds: “I’ve watched Normal People maybe twelve times, so getting this brief was an actual dream. Chloe and I shared so many of the same references and influences, it made the whole process seamless.
