summer is a state of mind

I’m just gonna say it… 2026 was one of THE. BEST. SUMMERS. EVER.

I don’t even know how to begin posting about it because there aren’t enough photos, words, etc. to do it justice.

These pics barely scratch the surface, but they were taken on a “disposable” camera - and it was a nice surprise to the end of the season.

So many people contributed to the magic - you know who you are… let’s keep that shit up all four seasons.

See you next year ;) by @boo_kay

“Express yourself; don’t repress yourself.” - Madonna

The Confessions II: Madonna Party was EVERYTHING! So much love and detail went into this event, and that’s because of the love and TLC put in by the amazing party hosts: @aaronkimberlin @oknathan @cort_fisher 💕💕💕 Epic transformations, decorations, performances and more ! Mother would be proud - congrats and thanks for bringing the Madonna magic. by @boo_kay

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, I’m crashing your timeline with the unhinged photography from the big 4-0… first pic is probably my fave mirror selfie ever. ❤️🙏 by @boo_kay

Photos can’t do it justice. There aren’t enough words. And, I’ll never forget this feeling of love, gratitude and magic.

This is 40 - and the MTV SUMMER SLAYCATION was off the charts!

Thank YOU to everyone who supported, attended, performed, traveled, catered, gifted, thrifted, hosted, contributed, sent love from afar, etc. - you truly don’t know how much YOU mean to me AND how grateful I am for the community you’ve given me and the freedom to be myself.

There’s honestly so much I want to say, but at the end of the day and from the bottom of my heart, all I have is: I LOVE YOU, we’re better together, and may we all shine at our brightest and most authentic selves - and thank you for continuing to teach me that.

Magical is an understatement… About a month ago, I had the honor of officiating a wedding for a sweet friend I’ve had the pleasure of knowing since she was four years old… She’s grown into a beautiful young woman who’s found her Prince Charming and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them. Their love was palpable, their vows made me cry and it truly was a magical celebration of family, friends and sweet vanilla twilights ahead. ❤️ taken in Kindred Oaks by @boo_kay
