Fantastic evening last night at the house for the @deadcenterfilm Annual Meeting!

Volunteers, staff, stakeholders, incoming, outgoing and past board members, community leaders and students all@came together to celebrate the success of the past year!

Over 1,800 submission led to 209 films at the festival this year. And the education programming doubled reaching over 27,000 students statewide.

Entering its 27th year- all roads lead to @deadcenterfilm!!!

Such a fun night with Norma Jean Goldenstein and Friends. The end of an era for sure as she heads off to TX. Thank You for bringing so many smiles and much needed laughs to this community. Love You, Norma!

10 years ago today, I wrapped shooting on my very first short film called Temporary. Written and composed by my brilliant hubby, @davidcornue, we bootstrapped this production in every sense. We called in every favor from LA to NYC, and eventually Oklahoma. Our family, old friends, new friends, and beyond, supported by donating to our @kickstarter campaign, offering resources, or volunteering on our set. It was one of the most thrilling and joyful experiences of my life. There are literally hundreds of people to thank. This community support is what launched my directing career. This film won multiple awards at festivals across the country, but best of all it won me acceptance into the AFI Directing Workshop for Women that changed my life.
