This one was the one I was “excited” about from this gang of friends and to be honest, it was ok. To my preference? Mid, but still has good tropes that i enjoyed. One thing about this series is the repetitive in both actions and kind of character personalities but we’ll move on.
I liked the kinks, I liked the flow, I liked how the parents reacted. I miss the conversations that we used to have between the girls like in the previous books but I know that each book is different. (lol, I was just complaining about the repetitive part but that was characteristic, not having girl time).
What I didn’t like was the end? Like there was “effort” but not really. I see that it’s like father, like son, but I wanted to see more. More grovel.

This book is about this girl who had a crush on her friend for so long, that she became his spy when he asked, just to please him, only for his rival to swoop her up into his web. The same rival she was spying on. The same rival his sister is her girl friend.

That rating I just gave was totally for the IDEA of this book and how it had potential + the side characters, but for the main characters? Absolutely not. The writing was sooo different from the last series (in a bad way), the dialogue was basic to bad, the characters development was more said than done. I did like the hunting game and maybe when the girls are together but other than that, it’s a total flop in my book.

This book is about a girl who has lost her friend in a cliff accident, only to be cornered a few days later by a psychopath, right at the cliff where it happened. And that wasn’t a one time incident, but he had her in his mind to be his little play thing.

😮‍💨🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼now THIS is what I’m talking about. This was so delish, chefs kiss and juicy. It ate in every way. Want tension? There. Want stolen moments? There. Want hot smut😏? THERE!!! Want character development? There. Like this trilogy really ate and left no crumbs from beginning to end. I absolutely enjoyed every book and this couple is definitely one of my top favs from Miss Rina. I loved the details, the secrets, the side characters also had their charm and just a really good read. I definitely recommend. I feel for the fmc and whatever she’s done in the past or the future, I’m right there beside her💪🏼. As in for the mmc, your brain🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼

This trilogy is about this girl who had to sacrifice her identity, her gender for her family and get the revenge she deserves. And for that, she had to go to the military and finds out who was behind her family’s death. But what started as a clear message, developed to a much messy situation when she had to seek protection from the son of her enemy.

Now talk about a TRILOGY🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
THIS is what’s expected of miss Rina Kent! These books were chefs kiss and oh my. I loooved how each book was set, the plots, the details, the contrast between the harshness of the mmc and the softness of the fmc. I loved how the relationship wasn’t perfect YET how resilient the mmc was about his woman. Like make no mistake, she’s his breath, she’s his light and if u even as much as look at her… trust, you’ll be 6 feet under.🙂‍↕️🤏🏼

I really enjoyed this one and I hope the future books in this world are only better. I loved how smart the mmc is and I also enjoyed the side the side characters. I loved the character development of both the main characters and how they fit each others.

This trilogy is about a smart, mysterious man who needed to find a way to help his brotherhood, and when he did find that way, it ended up being his most valuable piece, only it wasn’t for his brotherhood but for himself.

This one was the more bearable from the whole serie. I liked the fmc way much than I thought in the previous books, I also liked when we figured the backstory and POVs of each of the main characters. It got us close and we understood more of their reasonings behind some stuff. I liked the possessiveness of the mmc and how they can both get under each other’s skin but that’s just sexy tension🤭😌I liked the banter, I liked the smut. In general, this one was better.

This book is about a woman who fell pregnant after a one night stand, with a masked man in her teens, only to loose him and her child. Several years later, the truth got revealed and nothing is how it seemed, only the masked man from that one night stand is her boss, and her child is alive.

Can we start with… WTF WAS THIS ENDING??? It makes 0.05 sense and it LITERALLY was 1-2 pages max. So you’re telling me the whole book started good, scrumptious toxic banter, the halfway was also good to toxic and mixed signals in every scene and it stays like that until the BARELY “end”??? Miss rina kent. What. Is. This. Why do u keep doing this???😩☹️it was really going good for me but then the last 2-3 chapters were just the same old same old and I won’t have it! The rating was just because of the start and maybe the middle.😪

This book is about a girl who needed work to support her only family, but life did her dirty when she ended up having one opportunity, and it’s being an assistant for her “ex” friend. Can he break her or will she stays her ground no matter what?

This one was better than the last one, I liked the hidden identity and the sneaking around, the “I hate u” infront of strangers and “u r mine” for when they’re together. I liked the jealousy and the possessiveness on his behalf🙂‍↕️and how he actually meant it when he said she’s his (at the end). I also didn’t realize the fmc was who she is in this whole series until a special scene and that’s when I linked thing lol. Anyways, i enjoyed it since the writing was better.

This book is about a IT/ hacker girl who moved to a new city to work at a law firm, only to find her one and only one night stand is her new boss. Can they keep it professional? Will her secrets ruins her future?

First of all, literally no one asked for this book or this character’s storyline. Second of all, tf was this. There are too many questions in the dialogue. Stupid ones at that. And they’re not even informative or helpful, just those annoying ones. (Him “are you going?” Her “Why shouldn’t I?” Him “Are u disobeying me?” Her “why should I obey you?”) I was skipping lines like my life depends on it.😐an mmc COULD be annoying but not this annoying, and same thing goes to the fmc.
There’s just a lot of ordering, a lot of belittling (as in “you’re a kid”) and it went for so long like… like repeatedly until the end.
Too may ugh huh😪enough
And the language too… it truly takes u out. (my big… my tiny…)
I’m like what’s the point of this book and these characters and what a waste😪

This book is about a girl who has always had a crush of her dad’s best friend and she finally had the opportunity to be close to him, but at what cost.

First of all, I wanna start with saying: this duet is different… and not in a good way😀the writing is different, it’s more sexual if that makes sense and kinda cringy. Like the way the characters are described, specially the fmc it made me uncomfortable and idk why the author has changed the style with this one. I hope it’s a one time thing cuz it takes you out of the experience. That being said, there’s some kinks that were pretty good🤭crazy but good. Even though it seemed a little exaggerated for the mmc and how young he is but that’s THEIR business lol.

The mmc is good in bed, but oh man he sucks ass in anything fight related and violence😪I’m like bruh… u had years to learn how to fight or try atleast, dang u can’t fight for ur girl?

The end felt so rushed and just brushed and so…😭like I don’t like when the woman is doing the man’s job. Like SHE should be the one being saved not him. Not TWICE. I know I’m spoiling u but it pisses me off.

The epilogues usually are always cringy and corny and this one was no difference.

The writing didn’t keep a straight streak. It kept going from good to bad to good to bad, idk why.

This duet is about a girl who’s minding her business when the hottest man from her school made it his mission to make her his. Will she go for it since he was her crush for forever or is there more to it?

Well, well, well… this duet took me almost 3 months🤭but I did it! And that’s all that matters! This one was my favorite out of the twin sisters by a bunch! Definitely more plot, more character, more depth. The story started okay and I almost gave up but then quickly picked up and kept it that way. I enjoyed the chemistry, the tension and the banter between the main characters and also knowing the little crumbs from other characters (that I don’t know if they’re getting their books or not) and it was fun! Wha I didn’t like was the constant on and off of leaving from the mmc. Like i understood why he did that but it pissed me off😤
As I said, this duet was kinda better than the last and that’s how it should be from now on! Only getting better! though, it’s not so dark, it’s definitely tame for mafia but still good.

This duet is about a mafia princess who got herself in a marriage to save her cousin. And she thought it was fine until she found out it was with none other than her ex bodyguard, the one who left her for almost a decade, without a single word. Will this be a real marriage? Can she still stay strong with how many information he’s got on her?

I’ve read around 26-27 books in 2025 and surprisingly there’s only 5 favorites(I counted the trilogy as one🥲).

I liked this duet. Mostly because It was short😅. I liked the build up and how things were setup in the first book but in the second one, I kinda figured things from the start on how it would end up. Like I wished it was more mysterious but we deal. I’m interested to see if the author will write about the twin’s love life but also at the same time can’t be bothered🥴I’m not THAT interested. I just want to get into some mafia lol
I know this review is all over the place but overall, the writing was good, characters ok, the plot was good, I wished it was more developed and dark because how it ended and the reasoning behind it😀lowkey underwhelming for how it was made up to be.
Also some smut scenes in the second book were unnecessary and that’s a lot coming from a smut lover.
Also the way some characters were mentioned just for the sake of mentioning😅I ain’t just picking bad stuff, it’s just MY opinion

This duet is about a girl who lost her memory, only to wake up and finding out she’s engaged to her enemy, have a stalker and hates her previous life. Will she do anything about it even though she can’t remember who she is?
