“Thick” by @authoralexariley

4.25/5⭐️

Tropes:
- Rich guy/ ok girl
- Very tall man/very short girl
- Contemporary romance
- Super cute novella

Tbh, I wasn’t expecting to LOVE this novella. I was shock hun but I’m so happy I’ve read it. It’s super cute and hehe and made me giggle. I found this book a combination of the hating game minus the enemies to lovers thing, and in “tangled like us” like thatcher and Jane. I guess u could see that it’s the height difference that’s making me relate to these other books. Their relationship is very wholesome and cute and adorable. Can u tell I like this book for how much I said it’s cute?😂Anyways, it was easy to finish, the writing was pretty good and entertaining and easy to follow. I’ve read quite a few novellas from this author and she might be one of my go to from now on! She got some good shit up in there.

Back to the story, this one is about this clumsy girl who moved in this new apartment complex and she’s intrigued abt her neighbor. A neighbor who doesn’t like to go out, doesn’t like to even leave his house only in emergencies. Will he break his rules for her? Would she be the one who could handle him and not see him like a beast?

Have u read this before?

“The dare” by @harleylarouxwriter

3.5/5⭐️

Tropes:
- Dark (but not too dark novella)
- bad boy/ good girl that want to be bad
- Kinky
- Contemporary romance

Tw: bdsm, violence,

This book kind of gave me a little bully by pd and corrupt vibes minus the kinks of course cuz those have none. I liked it. It was fun, entertaining and short. I was kind of gagged abt the little reverse harem moment but damn😂the patience this girl have could absolutely not be me😭but i guess that’s what kinks and fantasies makes u do. Though, I wished the sex was more detailed and long but it’s a novella😀what did I expect. At the end, I thought maybe they would make a cute couple and I which we got an epilogue of them or sum☺️anyways, I enjoyed this one and I’m glad I finally got to read it cuz it was in my tbr for ages!

This novella start in a halloween party where Jessica, the prom Queen girl ended up meeting the freak. The freak who she used back in high school and left get to get expelled. The freak who ended up playing and beating her up at the drink or dare game. She never loose nor refuse to do a dare. But what happened when he dare her to live her fantasies?

Have you read it? If so, what do you think?

“Dismount” from the *off balance* series (book # 5) by @lucia_franco_

4.75/5⭐️

Oh man🥲where do I start. Not that u care but I write all my thoughts on my iPhone notes while reading every book so ik what to write in my reviews when I’m done. I just went back and read what I wrote and I laughed, remembering every details and how mad and happy I was. Basically, I was a mess and going through it. This one was a roller coaster more than the rest. It was just full of emotions and got me so worked up too! That’s what I love abt Lucia’s writing (lol, I’ve only read this series so far but I can tell) she makes damn sure for u to live and feel everything and it’s all good until they broke ur MF heart🥲I’ve never wanted to slap Kova so bad so hard until this book and specially the bottom half. (Also never wanted to fuck him so bad😀but that’s throughout the whole series, let’s be honest in here). Ria is a STRONG ass bitch but also got me mad too when she kept ignoring the doc. She MF made it to the MF Olympic and MF won and I TEARED UP Y’ALL!😩meanwhile, her bro is really, no, seriously fucked and Idk how he’s still alive and not in the sewer at this point🙄. Joy apologizing? Would have never guessed.(also teared up cuz it was one of those moments) also don’t want to talk abt when he fucked her and left when he looked at her scar🙄🔪nor that part(s) where he was scared of her dad(may or may not have called him a pussy 73736 times in this book and i don’t regret it. He deserves it.) but I’ve never knew intimacy until I’ve read this line while he was so deep inside her, he murmured “we can’t get closer any than that” (I died and then revived to continue reading ofc). His diaries reminded me of Bridget Jones😌but broke me like I’ve lost a dear one. I wasn’t expecting it to go that way BUT ending with a good note, the epilogue was one and if not the best, most funniest epilogues I’ve ever read. It got everything in it YET I’m still expecting more details for when he got back for her, the wedding, when they knew they preggy and more.
Anyways, this was truly an amazing journey that made a difference and I’m honored that I got to read it. Can’t wait to read more from her!

“Twist” from *the off balance* series (book # 4) by @lucia_franco_

4.75/5 ⭐️

Ff😂😭this book got me going from one emotion to the other real quick! I loved it but I also hated how I was going from wanting to punch everyone to just having butterflies😩😂
Like don’t get me wrong, we love a messy background but oh lord😭when I’ve heard abt Ria’s granddaddy died with cancer I was like “not again”😩my gal can’t catch a break, like at ALL!! Funny thing but I’ve noticed but there’s this commun thing between Kova and joe from the show ‘you’ where they both love and NEED to be needed and to take care of someone, or else they go crazy😀# twinning
Once again, EVERYTIME Lucia describes Ria doing a competition, my heart race cuz I’m afraid she’ll fall or twist her limbs or her sickness causes her to falter and end up busting her bones out😩and she just DID!! She falls and I almost threw up😪gymnastic fails gives me the chills since I’ve watched that final destination🙄talk abt trauma.
No cuz when he basically said ily but she said it for him? But it doesn’t count for me cuz I need to hear him spell it but still! And it was just😩😩like yes! That part!! Turn it up!!! And when he kept saying “say it.” it reminded me of that scene in twilight when Bella knew what Edward was😭iykyk
U know when u shut ur book, sit still but scream from the inside? Yeh that was me when I figured that he KNOWS abt her sickness!!😩
the sex after that was literally, hands down one of the best sex I’ve ever read. Props to fucking Lucia for every details and exquisite smut scenes 🤌🏼that knife/blood kink tho took me by surprise😂but I always luv a little ✨spice✨😀no but fr, the sex was everything🔥and I want some of it too.
When she found out that she’s preggy, I knew that was just the cherry on top. Like this can’t be real. She literally can’t have a break.
And THEN, his audacity to just Admit he got his wife preggy😀he gone crazy this fellow. Like why is he so calm abt it?
One again, the sex😩🤌🏼🔥one of the best!! And just as he found out abt her pregnancy, HER DAD COME BUSTING AND FINDS OUT EVERYTHING!! and maybe, just maybe… miscarriage his daughter…

“The master” from ‘the game maker’ (book 2/3) by @kresleycole

4.25/5⭐️

Tropes:
- age gap
- Billionaire
- Alpha male
- rich man/poor gal

Tw: violence, murder, blood, abuse,

Tbh I’ve read this book ages ago and I just noticed that I haven’t made a review on it yet so I’m make it now😀I remember loving this book a lot and I think it’s one of the first Russian male fc books that I’ve ever read? Don’t quote me on that tho but yeh, I remember that the story kept me hooked and very entertained. Definitely some characterS development there and great spicy smut🔥🤌🏼I’m planning on reading the first and third book asap cuz I’ve heard they’re just as🔥if not more! This book is definitely my vibe cuz billionaire? Alpha Russian? He falls hard first? spicy sex? Both with trauma? Hello? I would definitely recommend it and now into the story! This book is obv abt this billionaire who wants quick fucks for one night cuz my man is busy af and don’t want relationships + he never sleep with a woman twice. He have a type and the woman that entered his room that night definitely wasn’t his type *wink wink* basically he likes it at a specific position and don’t like to be touched bla bla (don’t want to spoil) but oh man😏he didn’t know that the second he opened that penthouse door, there was no going back. And her… she got some very interesting background story that u would want to check it out👀that being said, READ IT.

Have you read it? If so, what do you think?

“Release” (book 3 from the ‘off balance’ series) by @lucia_franco_

Omg😩this book got me so worked up! Like girll, I wanted to mother Ria so bad and take her or drag her at this point to the doctor. Like the number of times she just push and push, how is she not running to the doc? Health should come before anything else😪
Like this book was messyyyyyy, u don’t even know. The many many injuries, the messing up with Hayden to forget Mr. Kova, the soft Kova when he knew he fucked up😩, the hard harsh heartbreaks, testing freaking elite? U r kidding me. I was so worried she would bust a bone but the opposite, she finessed that shit like it was a piece of caaaake. Also mf Kova finally opening up abt but NOT SAYING ENOUGH! Like I wanted to murder him at that point. Her mom and her background🙄I was gagged. But what set me off was the potential murderrrrr??? Kova? A criminal? “Mama, I’m in love with a criminal..”😂😂 but damn when I heard abt abt her sickness, that she got the same shit as her dead aunt… I lost it. Like I was so mad at life that I said if she dies after she won a metal at the Olympics I’m suing. Idc😪I was that hurt. But when I tell u I wanted to jump at Kova for giving us that last sentence cliffhangers…Oofff! He just left us wondering abt her mom and what she did. Like wbk she’s bad and shit and lowkey expecting a messy stir from her but I wasn’t ready when I’ve read book 4🙄

Anyways, another spontaneous review and I kind of like these. I might do more like this cuz I feel like I’m just talking and sharing my thoughts. When before, I used to kinda be “professional” at making reviews😂that’s what I think atleast

“He was a temptation I couldn't resist. I was a desire he craved. We were the worst and best kind of combination.”

“Execution” from *Off balance* series ( book # 2) by @lucia_franco_

4/5⭐️

It’s the way Kova keep juggling Ria and my sanity with his fast as light attitude. And Ria keeps hiding her pain🔪I want to slap her for that everytime that happens. Kova is such a hard and complex character cuz idk how I would deal with him if I was in her place. I would probably be easy but also so done with him everytime he does something. This book took me more than a month to finish but it’s cuz I was busy (ik, shocking) and had no focus to do so. Past the middle and into the end of the book, the bombs dropped there😳I mean I expected two of them and the third was kinda obvious if u paid attention since book 1 but it doesn’t get easy even if u expected anything. U feel everything and everyone’s pain, it’s what I love abt reading. Idk how a person would deal with all the mess and problems + her future like Ria does but that’s some strong ass character and I’m only in book2. I definitely didn’t support some of each characters choices but I understand why they did them. The sex always gets me and I wish they stayed like that but what do u expect😀it did stress me out when she competed and that’s why I read so fast the part when she do her jumps and splits and wtvr that is cuz I get anxious on how she’ll do and ik my eyes would want to jump and read if she made it or no so I go running in those parts😂
Anyways this is a ramble/spontaneous review and I can’t wait to continue reading! I hope I don’t take long finishing this series cuz 1- it’s really good and entertaining 2- my tbr is begging to be read

“Your place is at my side,” I told her. “Say it.”
She whispered, “My place is at your side.”
“Louder.” I shook her gently, but my tone was firm. “My woman doesn’t ask permission. She’s a force. Say it louder.”
Her chin started to tremble, but her voice burst out strong. “My place is at your side.”
