Three years in, and this year's Back to School Campaign just wrapped with 15 authors in 10 states.

Today is International Literacy Day, a day to celebrate reading and writing as a foundation for opportunity, connection, and lifelong learning. Excited to share that Book an Author is officially partnering with Global ERG Network (GEN)

ERGs already know how to build community — storytelling just gives that work a new gear. This November, Book an Author bringing to the Global ERG Network Conference 2026 in Charlotte, NC:

💡An interactive workshop with Tanya Wright, Ed.M @tanyaishair — two-time SAG Award winner (Orange Is the New Black) and media entrepreneur — on turning your own seemingly unrelated experiences into unique strengths
🖋️ A creative writing workshop with Serena Li @serena.y.li , drawing on her dual lens as an award-winning publisher and a current ERG leader

And behind the scenes, our team is rebuilding the entire Book an Author marketplace ahead of the conference — making it easier than ever for corporations and continuing education organizations to discover literary experiences and buy books directly from publishers.

One of the reasons we built Book an Author was to make it simple for organizations to bring real authors — and the real stories they carry — to the people who need them most. ERGs are a natural fit: they’re already creating spaces for connection and learning, and GEN’s community takes storytelling seriously as a tool for growth.
