We’re so honored! 💛 our author, Rachel Glowacki of Move With Me Books, has received the 2026 Community Impact Award from @bookanauthor - “In recognition of your dedication to promoting literacy.” 📚✨

Thank you, @bookanauthor, for the work you do connecting kids, schools and libraries with authors who make reading come alive. It means so much to be seen by a team that believes in the power of stories as much as we do.

📚 The Back-to-School Campaign keeps on giving!

Today, I’m preparing 25 more books that are finding their way into a new classroom at Somerset Gables Academy, along with a special Aloe Vera’s Special Gift Back-to-School Basket filled with Aloe goodies for Ms. Bulnes and her students.

This special classroom sponsorship was made possible by Betty Esposito of Bright Steps Academy — one teacher supporting another teacher and her classroom.
And that is what makes this so meaningful.

Teachers supporting teachers. Schools supporting schools. Community showing up for children.

This is exactly why being a Literary Champion means so much to me. It’s about more than delivering books. It’s about helping stories reach classrooms, celebrating educators, and creating opportunities for children to read, learn, and grow.

To Betty, and to every supporter and donor who helped make our Back-to-School campaign possible: this is your generosity in action.

Because of you, another teacher is being celebrated, another classroom is receiving new books, and 25 more copies of Aloe Vera’s Special Gift are finding their way into the hands of young readers.🌿

Thank you, Betty Esposito and Bright Steps Academy, for sponsoring Ms. Bulnes’ classroom at Somerset Gables Academy and for reminding us what community looks like.

The campaign may have ended, but the giving keeps growing. 💚

Halfway there, and only three days left . . .

I really, really love working with kids and doing story times. Last fall, I did a story time that started with only one kid raising his hand to answer my questions. By the end of the visit, though, every kid in the class was asking to volunteer.

I hear stories from families about the things their kids notice out in nature after my author visits, and I want to share these visits with more schools. I’ll also be offering my author visits at a discount for these events. I’m hoping we can raise enough to fund assemblies at two schools this fall.

Would you help me do that? I’m looking for 4-5 people who can donate $10 today!

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸❤️

And since we’re talking about labor… ALL THROUGH THE CROWN was the biggest labor of love of my life—second only to actually giving birth. 😂

Except this baby took 15 years to birth instead of 9 months. 📖✨

Now I get to help put books into the hands of 400 rising kindergarteners here in Eagle County.

Every $10 helps gift a child a book + I am adding a complimentary author visit.

Help Me Put a Book in 500 Little Hands 📚

This school year, my dream is to bring Aloe Vera’s Special Gift to 500 young readers.

I’m dreaming of more classrooms filled with curious minds, little readers discovering their own special gifts, and stories that don’t stop at the classroom door—but go home to be shared with families.

💚 $250 sponsors one classroom.
📚 25 books.
♥️ 25 children.
🏡 25 stories to take home

Every book placed in a child’s hands is an opportunity to plant a little seed of confidence, curiosity, and possibility.

I’m so grateful for everyone helping me grow this dream—one classroom at a time.

If you’d like to help me reach 500 young readers, you can support the campaign through the link in my Linktree in bio.

Let’s put more stories into little hands.

A huge thank you to @teacherkasie for supporting literacy and nature education!

Be sure to check out her YouTube Channel this Saturday! I’m joining her at 7:30 PT to talk about exploring rocks, minerals, and geology with kids. We’ll have hands-on activity ideas you can try with your own kids, and we’re going to talk about some really amazing rocks!
