Dear Dad,
I feel as if I will never know what to say. I love you more than words can put into play. You really were my best friend, you got me like no other. I could always talk to you about life and laugh about the little things. In the past year our relationship hit a rough patch, know that no matter what I love you. I am sorry for many things, but I know I cannot change anything. Nothing will ever change my love for you and I will continue to hold onto the beautiful memories we have shared over my lifetime. Why our time is up together I know you’re watching over me in heaven, and I will see you again one day. I love you more than life itself and a piece of you will always continue to walk through life with me. Thank you for being my dad and most importantly thank you for being my best friend. My junior year of high school I signed up to take APUSH to gossip with Anna & instead I met you. Meeting you is the best gift God has ever given me. You are the light in my life & my best friend. 5/29/26 was the best day of my life and I’m not sure how any day will ever beat it. When I met you, you were shy & quiet & now I’m not sure who talks more. I feel like I’ve met my match because you (might) be funnier than me. I love you Jacob, and to be loved by you is even better. Yesterday was my very first day teaching & my 23rd birthday!! Thank you for all the sweet messages! Sorry if I’m just now responding! (I fell asleep at 8:30pm😂) Ya’ll weren’t kidding when you said adulting was hard!!!!!😂😂😂 also a big thank you to anyone who donated to my classroom. It means so much to me & my students! 4 years full of the most cherished, loving friendships a girl could have ever asked for. I decided to come to Arkansas two weeks after my dad passed, unsure and overwhelmed, after a lifetime of saying I’d never come to school here!
